This morning, on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, a Canadian Flag that flew over Juno Beach was raised at the Cenotaph.

At our OBPD Police Board meeting Special Municipal Cst. Chris Horsley was presented a Chief's Commendation for his actions during a suspicious persons call of a confused male at the wrong residence.
SMC Horsley took investigative steps and felt male may be having a stroke.
At our OBPD Police Board meeting yesterday Cst. Emma Rutledge was presented a St. John's Lifesaving Award and a Chief's Commendation for her efforts to successfully administer first aid and a tourniquet to a injured male. @DistrictOakBay
