@PianoFan2 This offer and the whole process is so poor @ GLN management. One of the worst management in corporate history and how they hell bent in destroying 100% of shareholder value.
@Divedundee @GalanLithium They need to sell the entire asset (HMW) to a Chinese miner and hope to get $400-$500mm. In these markets donβt see substantive financing for another 12-18months. I am assuming they have circled all OEMs as well and no one if financing them yet.
@BLSHigh@mondyinvest Only option is to sell the asset to a Chinese miner! I just hope JP/board listens but highly doubt it when the hubris of stupidity strikes you!
@ie_andy@LiBull888@mondyinvest $GLN BOD should realize by now there is only one option left; sell the entire asset to a Chinese player and hopefully, get 3-4x multiple of current market cap. Only way to salvage value for current shareholders.
@spovend76@ie_andy@D_Jimenez_Sch@GalanLithium@Glencore Do you think glencore even cares? Look at their revenue/market cap vs this potential deal. I am surprised $GLN even went with an open-needed arrangement with them. I am still surprised they not going to an OEM or a battery manufacturer. Or maybe they did and it was no go.
@_gobbler At this point, they should just sell the entire company to a Chinese miner, similar to some Argentine peers such as Neo Lithium etc. Salvage some value!
@D_Jimenez_Sch@GalanLithium Something doesnβt add up: best resource/grade; world-class team/operators; great community/govt relations; low opex/capex; but struggling for funding! Why no OEM/Japanese/SK battery maker or Chinese miner as minority investor?
@daando37 Canβt make sense of the lapse of time. Four months and counting due diligience time for GLEN for a $100mm investment doesnβt sounds logical.
@peterepstein2 Market pricing in roughly these assumptions: 500ktpa production and margin of $500/t, tax rate of 85% and p/e of 5x, giving $1bn market cap
