This week I was delighted to host a parliamentary reception with @LessSurvivable to mark Less Survivable Cancers week.
Getting earlier diagnosis and treatment will improve survival rates and priority needs to be given to this as part of the Cancer Strategy.
On this day, we remember Humphrey Bogart, one of Hollywood’s greatest icons, known for classics like Casablanca who sadly passed away from oesophageal cancer in 1957 aged 58.
For more information on symptoms see our website.

As part of #LessSurvivableCancersAwarenessWeek, we're highlighting the importance of symptom awareness. If you notice anything unusual for you, don’t hesitate—see your GP.
It's the first day of Less Survivable Cancers Awareness Week and as one of the less survivable cancers we want to amplify the urgent need for more research into early detection methods and better treatment for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
