@bookingcom I paid $1,798.56 for a stay in Addison, TX. The host could not provide the booked unit (no power, not cleaned) and confirmed it in writing. No case number, no reply for 48+ hours from support. I need a case opened and a full refund to my card.
Soda has actually become the ultimate IQ test
Think calorie-filled soda is better for you than zero sugar/diet soda?
Probably smooth brained
Think zero sugar/diet soda is both healthier than calorie-filled soda & one of the best tools for weight loss?
200 IQ
@softboywin Guys, you are so weak and soft. You could cook once every two days and keep up that pace - so stop spouting bullshit about not having the time.
@Malibu_1921@vic29587@iluminatibot@KiLLaKeLLz81 I live in Texas, but I’m not MAGA. I like low taxes; I don’t like homelessness, lack of accountability, or the smell of marijuana. What makes California and other Democratic states better for you specifically from a policy standpoint? I’m genuinely curious.
@peculiarchichii At the same time, this wife earns below average, typical corporate rat, but she still considers herself a big-time career woman.
So of course she has no time for cooking or having kids
@ManOfFocus_ I’m so fucking tired of this couple - just a basic, default-ass fucking pair. Ronaldo’s a legend, and his wife is just a legend’s wife, nothing more.
Male pattern baldness is genetics - you don’t opt out of it.
Weight gain is largely behavior - you do play a role in it.
Not even remotely the same thing.
@ClownWorld If my bill was $85.80, I’d leave $90 - or $100 if I’m in a good mood - just so I don’t have to wait for change or deal with a pissed-off look from the waiter. And if they’re not happy with that, then they don’t deserve a tip at all.
@InvestingAddict Forgot to mention earning $100k+ a year and constantly improving in your field. Other than that, yeah - mathematically, there’s no problem hitting $3–5 million by retirement.
@UziCryptoo People in the U.S. live paycheck to paycheck just like they always have everywhere else. Bro, life in the U.S. is still the most comfortable. In other countries, the impact of crises hits way harder.
@legendgamer800@garrow_ta@TheLaurenChen Yeah, the funny thing is, in Texas the minimum wage is $7.25/hour, even though a lot of people without special skills make $16–20/hour at regular jobs. And I agree, that’s low - but in that case, don’t work as a waiter in Texas. You’re responsible for your own life.
@Nithya_Shrii Kids are being raised more and more infantilized these days, so it feels like at 18 they’re still children.
But how does it make sense that in the U.S. you can drive at 16, yet can’t drink until 21? That part is wild to me.
@ZubyMusic Taxes in the U.S. are actually pretty low (aside from a few outlier states), but a lot of Americans don’t realize that and romanticize Western Europe like it’s some paradise with “free” healthcare and no poverty.
@aakashgupta Seriously, what’s wrong with you? There are people around the world who don’t have food or even water, and you’re in the world’s top economy saying you can’t find anything else besides a restaurant job in a place like Texas?
@aakashgupta Honestly, customers are just fending off unhinged waiters who don’t even understand who’s actually paying them. It’s a messed-up system - broke people fighting each other while the rich keep getting richer.
@aakashgupta By the way, not every state lets restaurants pay waiters that little. So if your state has that kind of dumb system - just don’t work in restaurants.
