The collapse of sanitation, the mountains of uncollected waste and rubble, and the Israeli occupation's blockade on pesticides, traps, and basic supplies have forced Palestinians, including children, to build their own defences out of whatever scraps remain: a piece of wood, an empty bottle, and the will to survive another night.
