@xXGarboXx@JennMGreenberg @sara_harmann Yes, children are not infants. We agree on this. Not sure why you’re yelling our agreement here. I’m still led to wonder why God would want INFANTS circumcised, but not baptized. Those infants had no choice! So unfair!
@xXGarboXx@JennMGreenberg @sara_harmann It seemed like you wanted to understand and have a conversation. Apparently I misunderstood. Thief on the cross is an exception though, but Jesus can make exceptions to his own rule, I suppose. Okay, Early church baptized infants too. But you don’t want to talk anymore.
@xXGarboXx@JennMGreenberg @sara_harmann Not exactly. You may want to reread the whole chapter. It saves us. How can we have a clear conscience? Because we’ve been saved by the cleansing of baptism thru Jesus Christ. Either way, Paul baptized children, hundreds of years later the church decided, eh, they don’t need it?
@xXGarboXx@JennMGreenberg @sara_harmann Circumcision was and is still done to infants. Also, “Baptism now saves you” from 1 Peter seems pretty direct. Paul talks about baptism replacing circumcision. Baptizing infants was done in the early church, denying baptism to infants came hundreds of years later.
@taranehayeman I’m tired of all the “sin is a sin” nonsense. Yes, all sin separates us from Christ, but let’s not pretend that different sins don’t have different consequences.
@benross456 @settysetareh It’s hard to take you seriously since you’ve already discredited yourself with lies. If you want to discredit Paul, use truth. Lies and deception only make you not credible.
@benross456 @settysetareh I’m the one here stating facts, while you keep regurgitating proven lies. You’ve done nothing to discredit Jesus. You’re embarrassing yourself.
@benross456 @settysetareh December 25 was a pagan holiday. December 25 was chosen for Jesus celebration to replace the pagan holiday.
Quit hiding behind the lies of Zeitgeist. If Jesus is myth, then you wouldn’t need lies to prove that.
