I bank with Zenith Bank. When I slot in my ATM card, the machine will welcome me and say “Arome, welcome”. The machine is dealing with me as a personalised customer. If I give my friend, Gideon Odoma my ATM to help me make some withdrawals, when he slots in the card, the machine will still say “Arome, welcome”, it won't recognise Gideon. It accepts the transaction because it takes for granted that it is Arome.

When you give your life to Christ, the Christ that is in you is the one that has the passcode to the throne of Grace. So when you come before the throne of Grace, you're not admitted into activities or transactions with that throne because you're ‘Samuel’ or ‘Philip’ by name. Christ in you becomes the basis of your right standing with God, He doesn't see you, He sees Christ; just like the ATM machine didn't recognise my friend Gideon and thought it was dealing with Arome.

So, Christ in you becomes the reason of your acceptance. Not you in yourself, but Christ in you. As long as you have Christ in you, when you stand before God, you're Right from the perspective of the Justice system of Heaven.

It is this RIGHTNESS that gives you the platform for Prayer. It is this RIGHTNESS that makes you to be able to engage God without inferiority, guilt and condemnation.

And the proof that this RIGHTNESS is in place is that there's an inner PEACE. PEACE means you're accepted. Peace means welcomed. Peace means you're free to do transactions in the courts of Heaven.

And that's an arrangement that was put in place not because you had anything to contribute to it. Salvation is not a reward for good behavior; it is a gift released by the grace of God. We access this grace by putting our faith in Jesus Christ.

Because it is entirely God’s doing and not our achievement, no man has grounds to boast.
Therefore, every believer must live in humility, knowing that redemption is purely the mercy of God.

I dated ten girls in three years.

Beautiful girls.
Sweet girls.
Prayerful girls.

But somehow… every relationship died after three months.

At first, I thought the problem was them.

Maybe she wasn't understanding enough.
Maybe she wasn't mature enough.
Maybe she wasn't “the one.”

So I kept trying again.

New girl.
New excitement.
New promises.

Three months later… the same emptiness returned.

Then one day I sat down and did something painful.

I counted my exes.

Ten.

Ten amazing women had passed through my life like seasons, and none of them stayed.

That was when the uncomfortable question hit me:

“What if the problem is not them… but me?”

So I did something unusual.

I stopped dating.

No talking stage.
No situationship.
No “let's see where this goes.”

Just silence.

And in that silence, I discovered something shocking:

I had been looking for a helpmate when I had not even discovered my mission.

Ladies are not created for emotional relief.
They are not created for sexual satisfaction.

They are created for purpose partnership.

The first time God introduced a woman, He didn't say:

He said:

“I will make him a help meet.”

Help for what?

Purpose.

Then something Pastor Dolapo once said suddenly made sense to me:

“God will not come down from heaven to pick a wife for you if you don't even know where your life is going.”

Think about it this way.

If you're travelling to Alaska, your luggage will look different.

Heavy jackets.
Boots.
Thick clothes.

But if you're travelling to Lagos, your luggage changes.

Light clothes.
Sandals.
Breathable fabrics.

Your luggage must match your destination.

And that was my mistake.

I was choosing a companion without knowing my destination.

I was packing luggage without knowing the journey.

So the truth is this:

If you have not found your direction in life…

Don't lock someone else's daughter inside your confusion.

Find yourself first.

Find your purpose.

Then the right helpmate will not just fit into your life…

She will accelerate it.

I will continue to say this for those that care- cheating is addictive in nature, cheaters don't stop cheating, they can just go on a break for a while but never change.

Hence why you see people who are loved with basically everything and you found out that your houseboy or gate man is pounding them.

Aside from many other constraints, a cheating partner is like dynamite or a landmine that is ready to kill anyone at any time.

Never forgive a cheating partner who has cheated three consecutive times. You will end up regretting your decisions, cheating three times is a complete red flag, and a walking dead syndrome.
