As conversations around sexual harassment allegations continue to dominate public discourse, one thing remains clear: women will always be at the forefront of political movements and presidential campaigns.
In DCP, leaders like Rose and Wanjiku Thiga continue to hold their own. In Wiper, Paloma's dedication and hard work are evident. In Safina Party Wambui is making her stand know. In Linda Mwananchi, young women myself included continue to show up, organize, mobilize, and lead. Across the political divide, including within the Broad-Based space, young women like Alionya are taking centre stage.
Women are not visitors in these movements, they are leaders, organizers, strategists, and the backbone of our campaigns.
That is why every movement must have strong safeguarding structures and clear sexual harassment policies. We must never water down claims made by victims, and every person who comes forward deserves to be heard, protected, and treated with dignity. At the same time, investigations must be independent, credible, and fair, ensuring due process for all parties involved.
We must also be honest about the culture we create in our political spaces. Senior leaders, including senior women leaders, have a responsibility not to normalize, entertain, or encourage sexualized commentary about women in politics. Such remarks, whether made in jest, for political gain, or as part of public discourse, contribute to a culture that undermines women and discourages participation.
A lot still needs to be done across political movements and parties to ensure that both women and men are safe, respected, and protected in these spaces. Leadership is not only about winning elections; it is also about building institutions and systems that protect people.
As a woman in Linda Mwananchi, I will continue to advocate for and safeguard spaces where women can engage, participate, and lead without fear. I am grateful to our principals and leaders who have consistently supported the creation of safe and inclusive political spaces, but this is a responsibility that all movements must embrace.
Safe political spaces are not optional, they are necessary!
These are my own personal thoughts on this.
This afternoon at 2:00 PM, I will address the country on a petition I have filed before the Judicial Service Commission seeking the removal of three Court of Appeal judges.
The issues at stake go to the heart of justice, accountability, and fidelity to our Constitution.

I have spent all week telling the people in the building, players and staff how much they mean to me.
Now it's my turn to tell the most important people at the club how much they mean to me. That is you guys.
From day 1 the love and support you have shown me has been unimaginable.
Your support always gave me that extra motivation to be the best I could have been.
We have had so many special nights and special days together and for that I'll be forever grateful.
The home games, away games, trips to Wembley or the parades. You guys ALWAYS show up in your numbers and I never took that for granted.
You are the heartbeat of the club and the best fans in the world.
Thank you for the reception yesterday, that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
You guys are family.
This isn't a goodbye, it's a see you soon.

From signing as an 9 year old boy, to leaving as a 25 year old man. This club has let me fulfill things that dreams are made of. It’s been an honour to wear this shirt, rub shoulders with legends and play for the greatest set of fans in the world. Thankyou Liverpool, YNWA❤️
I’ve genuinely never seen, in my years as a journalist covering this sport, a club finally win the Premier League after years of emotional collapses, only to do so from the sofa, with the wider football world reacting like someone had just announced a new Carabao Cup sponsor, a brief nod, a polite clap, and everyone moved on.
I still remember when England’s most glorious and mythical institution, Liverpool FC, won the league last season, playing great football and creating a sense across the football world that something monumental had happened, while with Arsenal, the title feels less like a historic coronation and more like a small club being allowed to hold the big trophy for a weekend, maybe because depressing football, set pieces and emotional insecurity will never quite feel like genuine greatness, which, from a purely journalistic perspective, is quite telling.
You can be sure that next season will be better from a Liverpool perspective for literally one reason. In 80% of the games we have lost, we have dominated possession, had more box entries & created more chances than the opposition. What has been missing more than anything else is quality chance creation, we leads you back to balance of profiles we have in our frontlines.
Dominating in key statistics such as these point to a team that has a very good process, but lacks certain key attributes to make it count. Don’t believe me? Well, despite all of the noise you’ve heard about us being bad, for the first time in Slot’s era we have only just started conceding more chances than we create. Why? Well, look at who’s been on the pitch these past 5 games. (XG average below).
🧵 Last Wednesday, past midnight,I drove through Red Hill— Waiyaki Way → Uhuru Hwy → Enterprise Rd → Lunga Lunga Rd → Jogoo Rd → Outering → Thika Rd → Muthaiga → Northern Bypass-Nyari. What I found was a city that has been abandoned by its own road agencies. Let's talk.
What sort of logic is this really? Fuel pricing is a predictable monthly event! Every single month we know the price will be reviewed! Shouldn’t you “protect Kenyans” when conducting the review in the first instance? We are seeing a pattern here where Kasongo throws us pain first then “reconvenes” to give us Panadol.
When the opposition leaders front one ticket, which they will, things will be looking very good and very nice! I have my favourite arrangement in mind, but whichever is settled on, we shall support.
Meanwhile, Edwin Sifuna is no doubt a man to watch. From barely featuring in the polls, to 10% in just 3 months… The momentum of Linda Mwananchi and Mimi Ndio Sifuna movement.
Our city roads are flooded with not just potholes, but deep craters. We have open sewers, exposed manholes, deep trenches, barely any proper pedestrian walkways, and street lights that simply do not work.
The public transport system is broken. In these already harsh economic times, people are struggling enough with school fees, healthcare, bills and daily living costs, yet they must endure the stress and danger of simply commuting to and from work each day.
Motorists, both private and public, are constantly paying the price through damage to their vehicles, and that burden keeps growing by the day.
These are the most basic issues of a functioning city, yet we cannot seem to fix them. At the same time, we want to introduce private motor vehicle inspection policies under a failed agency that appears to have little to no capacity or competence. If they truly had the ability, we would not be seeing the alarming number of clearly unroadworthy public transport vehicles operating freely on our roads. We all know a big part of road carnage is due to that but what the heck.
The suffering of city residents continues, and we have not even touched on law and order in the city and the constant water supply and electricity issues.
People already have more than enough on their plates. Yet here we are.
It is what it is.

With all due respect Edwin Sifuna asked us to simply show him these numbers we have through our platform

Otherwise tuko na mchezo sana!
