Yesterday I had a very healing conversation with a 13yo girl that was crying over not having a perfect score on her math exam. It was healing because in comforting her, I was talking directly to my inner 13yo, that was absolutely freaking out over the exact same things.

I know I've grown a lot since I was at her place, and hindsight is 20/20, and gaining perspective is a magical thing that makes everything fall into place. But I just talked to her exactly how I'd talk to young me, and it helped her too, which was truly beautiful ❤️
