Last month I got another Claude API Credits grant. So I disappeared for a while.

Asked claude code to help me figure out book the best train with highest waitlist confirmation chances based on previous waitlist clearance patterns (i booked 19 hours before departure). Got a seat.

Went to a super small village. Slept on grasslands. Worked in a monastery. Played chess with monks.

Last day of the trip, after dinner, something in my brain flipped and I decided to skip my summer internship in that big corp. I ain’t made for that lol.

Back to my base. Excited to learn/do the best creative work this summer.

anti-process / i did what felt right:

sat down. pulled the sd card videos. selected the potential vibey clips. pulled everything into davinci.

opened ig stories and started listening to fred again / kettama / joji / underscores / mehro / nf.

selected one song, downloaded it, pulled it into the timeline. trimmed it. started adding markers on the beats.

then started adding clips and fitting everything according to the flow (tried).

this took around 2 hours lol.

uske baad watched some half colour grading tutorials and did what i could with my sense of colours 🥀

then tried replicating a beat. i just wanted to somehow increase the length of that music. partially won.

finally added the text, logomarks, and some flicker.

throughout the process there were so many moments where i thought, “ye aise hoke aise ho jaaye toh maza aajaye.”

had absolutely no idea how to do those things, so i just took notes. will figure them out one by one 🗽

gonna do some homework now. study some assembly lang. sleep.

wake up excited for work again.
