@AmericanAir The gate agents are claiming the 3.5 hour delay is due to air traffic. This is not the case. I would like to know why the aircraft is sitting at BTV for over 3 hours. If it’s a maintenance issue, then say so. The gate agents here at DCA haven’t any worthwhile information. AA5634

@AmericanAir The delay is one thing (no one likes delays), but it’s the complete lack of reliable information on what’s happening that is most aggravating. There’s no one at the gate providing a status update. We were supposed to start boarding 20 minutes ago for DCA-PWM but it’s still at BTV

@AmericanAir The flight has supposedly been off the gate and taxiing for quite some time considering BTV is a small airport. The delays keep growing. The flight status updates available via your website/app are not helpful.

JetBlue flight 1030 arrived at JFK 6 minutes early, but 1803 is now departing over an hour late for SJU despite no significant weather issues in NY. Guess I wont be getting home to DC at a reasonable time this evening. Thanks @JetBlue 😒

What a sh*t show @Hertz DTW is. I checked in online, received a vehicle, looked for it only to find out the spot doesn’t exist. Then I had to go get in line only to find out the car they assigned me isn’t here and there’s a 35 minute wait for all here just to get a vehicle.

The theme of my @Amtrak experience in Virginia is constant delay over the last 15 months. In August my Charlottesville to DC trip had an eta of Sunday evening around 9:40 pm, the train didn’t arrive until Monday morning around 6 am. Now today another delay that keeps building…

Hey @AlaskaAir what caused a 1 hr 10 minute taxi time at PDX for this flight? Left the gate early but not airborne until well late, leading to cascading delays the rest of the day (for me, sigh)…

@Metrorailinfo Thank you for checking. I ride every weekday and Dupont station has felt comfortable all summer during the most intense heat & humidity. It was substantially warmer this morning compared to yesterday.

@AmtrakNECAlerts The delay keeps growing. This doesn’t give any useful info when you’ll finally get this train moving again. Instead the delay keeps growing with no end in sight so far. Is this unscheduled maintenance? Or scheduled track maintenance you didn’t plan sufficiently to minimize delay?

Can’t ever rely on @AmtrakNECAlerts to get you were you’re heading on time. Standing still for a half hour now in Virginia between Ashland and Fredericksburg. Only one update from the conductor a while ago, probably because no one is giving him updated info. *sigh* Train #124

Can’t recall flying this far south just to get into final approach for DCA. It added about 15 minutes to our previous ETA. I assume there are more aircraft than DCA can handle in this arrival window…

@mtamaryland Sitting at Baltimore’s Penn Station on train 495 going nowhere fast. Supposed to have departed 15 minutes ago. One announcement from the conductor but the speaker system cut out, so we have no idea when we’ll be moving. *sigh*
