Like the rest of the internet, Sentry runs on Open Source. Like the rest of the @ThePledge companies, we also believe in paying it back.
In 2025, we gave out $750k to the OSS projects we rely on; here’s a sampling of some of them, and why they are so crucial 🧵

Campfire is now free! An entire chat system to run on your own server. We are running the official #RailsWorld conference chat on it from a mini PC in my literal closet 😄 https://t.co/MM4yFETaI3
We just launched MCP Server observability @getsentry! Packed with all our takes we have learned from building and scaling our own MCP server.
With just one line of code you can look in depth inside your MCP Server.
If you're using McpServer from the official typescript modelcontextprotocol/sdk, wrap your server like wrapMcpServerWithSentry(McpServer) and that's all.
Go try it out and DM me if something is off, i'll set it up with you <3.
more languages and sdks coming soon.
who would have thought that @getsentry has the world's most useful AI programmer? literally compared to everything else -- more PRs shipped to production for actual bug fixes. love it!
VIBE DEBUGGING IS HERE!
So there we got this one vague @getsentry issue that I was pulling my hair out trying to debug
Like what is a "GitRPC::BadObjectState" @github??
I ran Autofix on it and even though it didn't fully get the true root cause of the problem, I was using it as a pair debugging and feeding it context from outside Sentry as well.
Eventually, it got me to the AHA! moment that turned out to be the user deleting diff lines from our diff editing tool and trying to create a PR with it. We were getting a null blob by creating a file with no content in it, not even an empty string.
I'm amazed, because otherwise I'd be stuck pulling my hair out debugging this. And yes, AUTOFIXED JUST FIXED ITSELF!
Public PR of this fix linked in thread!
Apple gets it. Robots are going to be everywhere, but they won’t look like robots. Check out their new paper ELEGNT.
I believe this is the future of everyday objects: helpful and human.
