While overall I’m not a fan of the newest @Apple update, I absolutely abhor the slide to end alarms. If I’d wanted a Google phone, I would have bought a Google phone.

The env regs pushed down and the subsidies for renewables made it impossible for fossil fuel fired base load generation to remain profitable thus forcing the closure of thousands of MWs. Installed renewables don’t even come close.

We are calling her Ruby-this girl was found off the 1500 block of Highway 36. We believe she may have been hit by a car and she is being treated by our vet team but we know she would rather be at home.

@stageman806 @JudgeKPGeorge I meant overall. Prioritizing sections isn’t any different than ER triage. When you only have so much generation available, you have to prioritize what’s important. Also, some areas have been without due to equipment failure, not as a result of being turned off.

Plants do freeze and close, homes do lose power in the NE during winter. Most are gas or oil heated though.
