Slaughtering the animals of Ahl al-Harb and burning whatever cannot be eaten is specifically mentioned as permissible in Hanafi works of Fiqh.
The purpose is so that non-Muslims cannot benefit from the meat or the trade value of the animals.
Muslims are allowed to do this with Ahl al-Harb.
Obviously, it is not allowed for non-Muslims to do this to Muslims.
The ones who report these statements want the world to reel in anger and outrage against their "universally immorality."
The fact is that Islamic law permits Muslims to demolish the residences and buildings of non-Muslims as part of conquering their lands.
100% there is a double standard to Islamic law:
It is permissible for Muslims to demolish the residences of non-Muslims in order to conquer them and bring them under the Shari'ah.
It is NOT permissible for non-Muslims to demolish the residences of Muslims in order to conquer us and bring us under man-made laws.
Why blame Israelis for a sentiment that Muslims should have toward non-Muslims?
If we allowed our children to be raised on the same sentiment toward non-Muslims and the Kufr/Shirk man-made laws they impose, and specifically that illegal apartheid state, even with all its technology, wouldn't stand a chance against the billions of Muslims with proper Aqidah and understanding of the Shari'ah.
Instead, we allow our children to be indoctrinated with a value system and morality that is foreign to Islam, namely a system that promotes victim worship and forces Muslims to view the world and our position in it as subjugated to man-made laws that the ones who invented them don't follow themselves.
For an Israeli to snipe tens of thousands of women and children at the behest of military and political leaders who promote and encourage them to do so, it is legal according to them.
For a Muslim to simply state the well-established legal ruling from classical and contemporary works of jurisprudence that conquering Dar al-Harb entails generalized attacks in which women and children will die and that is legal according to the Shari'ah is "radicalism" and "terrorism."
Stop appealing to non-Muslim morals and values. Stop appealing to non-Muslim man-made laws. Such appeals have never stopped the genocides against Muslims. Such appeals have only confused generation after generation of Muslims into thinking that man-made laws are there to help and save us from those who invented them and wield them against their enemies.

There's no such thing as legitimate Islamic authority for a "constitutional court" and it is the opposite of "truth" to order a woman to pay a man alimony after divorce.

So many people today claim to be Muslim while ridiculing and using "quotes" when referring to a group who implemented a Caliphate.
They invent all kinds of stipulations that don't exist in Islamic jurisprudence as reasons for why they reject a Caliphate not of their whimsical choosing and false criteria.
Meanwhile, the same people expect everyone to take seriously the secular governments in majority-Muslim lands who refuse to implement even an Islamic Emirate.
There are plenty of 'Ahkaam related to Jihad in Islam, whose main premise is their legislation specifically BECAUSE they will "terrorize the enemy."
Let's define terms first- what is the Arabic word for "terrorism"?
The Arabic word for "terrorism" is 'Irhāb or إرهاب.
I posit the argument, based on the classical texts of Fiqh/Ahkaam of Islam, that Jihad is in fact, in essence, "terrorism."
Many, many legal rulings in Islam are decided by a very simple and straight-forward criteria- does "terrorism of the enemy" take place or not?
In fact, "terrorism" is often equated to "Jihad" in the texts of Fiqh:
From al-Bida'i us-Sana'i by al-Kassani:
أما الأول فالذي يستحق السهم منها هو الرجل المسلم المقاتل، وهو أن يكون من أهل القتال، ودخل دار الحرب على قصد القتال، وسواء قاتل أو لم يقاتل؛ لأن الجهاد والقتال إرهاب العدو
"As for the first, then he who deserves a set share of spoils is the Muslim male who fights. And it is that he is from among the people of fighting and he entered Dar al-Harb for the purpose of fighting, regardless of whether he fights or not. THIS IS BECAUSE JIHAD AND FIGHTING ARE TERRORISM OF THE ENEMY...."

ولأن دار الحرب لا تخلو عن عيون الكفار وطلائعهم، فإذا دخلها جيش كثيف رجالا وركبانا فالجواسيس يخبرونهم بذلك، فيقع الرعب في قلوبهم حتى يتركوا القرى والرساتيق هربا إلى القلاع والحصون المنيعة، فكان مجاوزة الدرب على قصد القتال إرهاب العدو، وأنه جهاد
"And because Dar al-Harb is full of Disbeliever's spies and vanguards. So, when an army, dense with men and riders enters it, the spies inform them of that. Then, dread enters their hearts to the point that they abandon the towns and villages fleeing for well-fortified castles and forts. So, CROSSING THE BORDER FROM DAR AL-ISLAM TO DAR AL-HARB FOR THE PURPOSE OF FIGHTING IS TERRORISM OF THE ENEMY AND IT IS JIHAD."

والحاصل أن الترهيب على العدو هو مقصد من مقاصد الشرع
"In summary, TERRORIZING THE ENEMY IS AN OBJECTIVE AMONG THE OBJECTIVES OF LEGISLATION..."
From al-Hawi al-Kabir by al-Mawardi:
وَإِذَا غَصَبَ الرَّجُلُ فَرَسًا، فَشَهِدَ بِهِ الْوَقْعَةَ، أُسْهِمَ لِلْفَرَسِ لِلْحُضُورِ مَعَ الْغَاصِبِ، لِظُهُورِ التَّأْثِيرِ فِيهِ، وَحُصُولِ الْإِرْهَابِ بِهِ، وَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ مَعْصِيَةً، وَإِنْ كَانَ الْغَصْبُ مَعْصِيَةً
"And when a man steals a horse and witnesses a battle with it, he is given a set share of the spoils for the horse for being present with something stolen. This is due to the realization of the effect of [the horse] and the occurrence of TERRORISM by means of it- AND THAT IS NOT AN ACT OF DISOBEDIENCE, even though stealing is an act of disobedience..."
From Sharh Umdat il-Fiqh by Ibn Taymiyyah:
وذلك لأنَّ المقصود من السلاح قتال العدو وإرهابه، فجاز أن يحلَّى بما يفيد إرهابَ العدو وخيلاءَ المسلم تكميلًا لهذا المقصود. ولذلك جاز لبسُ الحرير حين القتال
"That is because what is intended by weapons is to fight AND TERRORIZE THE ENEMY. Thus, it is permissible to adorn oneself with what results in TERRORISM OF THE ENEMY and pride of the Muslim, in acheivement of this objective. Due to that, wearing silk at the time of fighting is permissible..."
From Sharh Mukhtasar at-Tahawi by al-Jassas al-Hanafi:
ولا خلاف نعلمه في إباحة ما كان لحمته حريرا، وسداه غير حرير في الحرب، ولأنه يكون جنة وسلاحا في الحرب، وفيه إرهاب للعدو
On the dispensation for wearing silk:
"There is no difference of opinion that we know of regarding the permissibility [of a garb] in war whose woof is silk and whose weft is non-silk because it can be a shield and weapon in war AND IT ENTAILS TERRORISM FOR THE ENEMY."
From at-Tajreed by al-Quduri al-Hanafi:
ولأن المقصود بالخيل ما يحصل بها من إرهاب العدو قال الله تعالى: {ومن رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو}
"And because what is intended with [utilization of] horses [in war] is THE TERRORISM OF THE ENEMY THAT TRANSPIRES BY MEANS OF THEM. And Allah ﷻ said: {...And of steeds of war by which you may terrorize the enemy...} [al-Anfal: 60]
From al-Muhadhdhab by ash-Shirazi ash-Shafi'ee:
والمستحب أن يدخل إلى دار الحرب بتعية الحرب لما روى أبو هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: كنت مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم فتح مكة فجعل خالد بن الوليد على إحدى المجنبتين وجعل الزبير على الأخرى وجعل أبا عبيدة على الساقة وبطن الوادي ولأن ذلك أحوط للحرب وأبلغ في إرهاب العدو
"What is recommended is to enter Dar al-Harb in formation for war due to what Abu Hurayrah RA transmitted: "I was with the Prophet ﷺ during the conquest of Mecca. So, he placed Khalid bin al-Waleed on one flank and az-Zubayr on the other. And he placed Abu Ubaydah on the rear guard and the middle of the valley- BECAUSE THAT IS THE MOST CAUTIOUS FOR WAR AND MOST EFFECTIVE IN TERRORIZING THE ENEMY."
From al-Mabsut by as-Sarakhsi:
وَأَهْلُ سُوقِ الْعَسْكَرِ إنْ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوا فَلَا يُسْهَمُ لَهُمْ وَلَا يُرْضَخُ لِأَنَّ قَصْدَهُمْ التِّجَارَةُ لَا إرْهَابُ الْعَدُوِّ وَإِعْزَازُ الدِّينِ
"If the traders who travel with the markets of the army do not fight, then there is no share of the spoils for them nor are they given a small gift because THEIR PURPOSE IS TRADE NOT TERRORISM OF THE ENEMY and strengthening the Deen."
And there are hundreds more statements from scholars, early and later, which state the same- 'Irhab, or "terrorism," is something which is an essential part of the legal rulings of "Jihad" and anyone who says otherwise is either willfully ignorant of the Shari'ah or a shill for the West and westernized distortions of Islam.
A Muslim should never use the term "terrorism" as a form of condemnation for the destruction and dismantling of all forces and structures dedicated to opposing the establishment of the Shari'ah.
Please, for the sake of Allah AWJ, before speaking about "terrorism," search the works of Fiqh for the Arabic term most often used to translate that English term.
A diligent and careless research, both of them, will find the Arabic term "Irhaab" mentioned in many chapters of Fiqh, especially Kitaab al-Jihad.
However, the term is NEVER mentioned in a negative way.
In fact, "terrorism" is mentioned as the basis for legislation, as a Maqsid of the Shari'ah, and as a legal reasoning for the recommendation, obligation, or permissibility of actions and NEVER as a reason to prohibit or disapprove of actions.
Ignorant "scholars," law enforcement, "intelligence" services, and authorities allied with Kuffaar in the Muslim world are adopting criteria to Shar'ee terms that oppose the Shari'ah.
State-controlled educational institutions, mosques, Madaaris, universities, and Fatwa councils have all adopted usage of the term "terrorism" as a form of condemnation in imitation of Kuffaar while rejecting and concealing the vital role it occupies in the Shari'ah.

Muslims should understand from Israel's invasion and occupation of Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine while the US, Europe, Australia, Canada and their allies approve and participate in those invasions that international law preventing aggression, invasion, and occupation of nations belonging to the UN and other international organizations is not relevant or enforceable.
The irrelevance and inapplicability of international law to Muslims and Muslim lands would be the case even without the flagrant violations of such laws by member states.
The Shari'ah is the only law that Muslims are obligated to respect, obey, and recognize.
