Seun: "When politicians come on my programme and keep mentioning your name, how does that make you feel?"
Peter Obi: "Calling me names doesn't make me feel anything. They are abandoning the issues we are supposed to discuss and discussing what I think is irrelevant. Instead of discussing the problems of the country, people come before you to discuss Peter Obi.

The outgoing President, Bola Tinubu, you are not coming back next year—never. Even if you buy private jets for judges, you will still lose. I’m a Yoruba man and my family has rejected you.bye
Fubara may think that since he has surrendered, all is well.
But one thing is very clear: he needs to brace up because he may not find it easy after his handover note.
The only reason he can still smile in the face of Nyesom Wike and every other power he has had a rift with is the fact that he still enjoys constitutional immunity.
Immediately after the 2027 election, he is going to be reminded of how he denied them budget for three years.
He is going to be reminded of how he demolished the legislative quarters.
And above all, his case with the EFCC before he became governor may be reopened again.
If he knows what is good for him, he better behave like Godwin Obaseki and run out of the country before the day of handover.
If not, he may be subjected to serious consequences.

Reno Omokri was asked on 15th June 2026, while on Channels Television's Politics Today, why he hadn't resumed his ambassadorial role even after 179 days since the Senate confirmed his nomination.
Guess what he said?
He said the delay was due to Mexico's preoccupation with co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which had temporarily slowed down diplomatic processes.
And you will ask: can co-hosting a World Cup really stop a sovereign nation from accepting a diplomat or processing an ambassadorial appointment?
Well, It's important to note that during the same period Reno claimed Mexico was busy preparing the logistics for the World Cup, President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico still received Letters of Credence from five newly deployed foreign ambassadors from Cuba, Egypt, Indonesia, the Netherlands, and Portugal.
So, I ask again: why has Reno not resumed his duty?
Was he rejected, or what?
Even the World Cup that Reno gave as his grand excuse is now over.
So, what exactly is still keeping him away from his duty post?

Xabi Alonso one to one with Emenalo.
I have a feeling he loves what he's seen already, maybe Chelsea don't get another LB.
Might be why Chavarria deal slowed.
Dear Seun,
On behalf of all of us who will be watching the interview tonight, I want to beg you to please ask sensible, objective, and issue-based questions. Don't waste our precious time with your usual old playbook style.
Finally, any question you cannot ask Tinubu in the face, don't ask Obi. The fact that he's coming to your show doesn't mean you should take advantage of his simplicity.
If you misbehave, we go drag you like "I beta pass my neighbour" generator.
Thank you.

A man who stopped the scholarship payments of Rivers students in the uk while he was governor, is today celebrating the graduation of his own daughter from a university in the same Uk.
Nigerian politicians are satanic animals. A heartless godless bunch of vile depraved animals.
The older you get, the more you realize peace isn’t quiet, it’s the absence of pretending.
No forced smiles. No fake bonds. Just truth, even if it’s lonely but peaceful.
You begin to understand that nothing compares to the value of peace, and that silence holds more strength than words.
You no longer feel the need to follow the crowd, having witnessed the emptiness behind the noise.
You stop justifying your choices, knowing most people aren’t trying to understand but just waiting to criticize to make themselves feel good about the mediocrity they've anchored themselves to.
I stumbled on this VIDEO of the House of Reps Committee on the Capital Market interrogating Mrs Dame Atunma Oteh, the then Director-General of the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
It refreshed my memory of how Nigeria’s criminal political class conspires to bring down competent and upright office holders who fail or refuse to do their bidding.
In 2012, Mrs Arunma was summoned by the House Committee for refusing to pay a bribe of N5 million to the Committee Chairman, Herman Hembe, to fund a public hearing. The Committee proceeded to recommend her removal, accusing her of mismanaging agency funds.
They further connived with some Board members and senior staff of the SEC to pressure the Presidency to bend to their demand to send Mrs Arunma on compulsory leave and audit her activities as the SEC Director-General, particularly the “Project 50” event held in December 2011.
Expectedly, the probe validated Mrs Arunma’s integrity and commitment to national interest, and brought shame to the House Committee. It took the insistence of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the approval of President Jonathan for her to be reinstated.
After her office expired in 2015, Mrs Arunma got immediate international engagements, from people who genuinely valued her worth. Nigeria lost her and her wealth of knowledge and experience.
Currently, she holds three standout international posts, amongst many. One, as an Executive in Residence at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Two, an Academic Scholar at St. Antony’s College, Oxford. Three, the Chairperson of the Royal African Society.
This is a reminder of how corrupt politicians in Nigeria conspire to frustrate and chase away competent and honourable public and civil servants who refuse to bend to their criminal will and interest.✍️
Rivers State will be the most interesting State in the whole of the South-South come 2023.
I will be expecting Nyesom Wike to perform the same magic that earned him the position of Minister of the FCT in Rivers.
At the same time, I will be expecting Amaechi not to leave anything to chance, especially when it comes to allowing Nyesom Wike to manipulate the only State he is sure of delivering to Atiku.
On the other hand, I will also be expecting the masses, who should ordinarily by now have had enough of political manipulation, to come out en masse to genuinely vote their free choice.
Anyhow one may look at it, Rivers will be to the South what Kano will be to the North.
The battle for Rivers will be one of the most interesting political battles to watch, because beyond the candidates, the real contest may be between political influence, structures, loyalty and the will of the people.
