I used a ton of camera tracking data/metrics to map basketball play styles to Pokémon types, 151 NBA players to the 151 OG Pokémon, and illustrated the results.

@AbelardsArdor @Sealoseal @DenverThugget Entitled to your opinion but I certainly do not. Mitchell is a worse pairing with Jokic than Murray and having OG means no AG, who is/was a better fit for the Nuggets.

@yoitsguin They didn't prioritize CB over him. They do different things and CB was game ready faster. Also, they can simply afford them both. People keep thinking CB's contract is an albatross for some reason. It's gonna be 14% of the cap. Literally just normal starter money.

@AbelardsArdor @Sealoseal @DenverThugget Mitchell hasn't faired any better in the post season than Murray and if they have OG they never end up trading for Gordon.

Also, no team has gotten back to the finals after getting there since the KD Warriors. It's just insanely unlikely as a thing in general nowadays.

@jaycaspiankang Harden by a mile I guess. At the end of the day sometimes you just exist as an all time great in a league with a couple dudes who were a little bit better and whose teams were a little bit better.

Basically existing somewhere along the Chuck/Malone/Ewing/Embiid spectrum.
