@inecnigeria has disregarded the Electoral Act by failing to publish the voters’ register online for public scrutiny, even after the statutory 90-day deadline has passed.
Nigerians #OccupyINEC should be our priority!
If that APC INEC chairman can openly break the law by refusing to publish voters register online, we have to begin the #RigandDie2027 from their offices.
Am I overthinking this? Because I am genuinely struggling to understand what is happening in Nigeria.
@inecnigeria has disregarded the Electoral Act by failing to publish the voters’ register online for public scrutiny, even after the statutory 90-day deadline has passed.
Even under Mahmood Yakubu, the register was published online, with a mechanism for complaints and objections.
Today, NOTHING!
And somehow, the country has moved on like nothing happened.
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?
Apart from @ARISEtv and @fijnigeria, where is the Nigerian media?
Where are @YIAGA, @EUinNigeria@EU_SDGN , @NDI and the other civil society organisations?
@NigeriaNDCHQ .@ADCNig ARE YOU PEOPLE SLEEPING? Are you actually preparing for this election?
This is the voters’ register we are talking about. THE VERY FOUNDATION OF AN ELECTION!
INEC has effectively said, “To hell with public scrutiny. Do your worst.”
And our collective response is SILENCE.
I am genuinely pained.
We complain about electoral malpractice and compromised institutions, yet when it is time to demand accountability BEFORE an election, everybody suddenly goes quiet.
Must we wait until votes are cast and results are disputed before we start shouting?
Seriously, am I the only one who finds this silence deeply disturbing?
There is 1 ref based in Merseyside. He's never officiated Liverpool or Everton as he is not allowed.
There are 3 Manc refs. Taylor, Kavanagh & Tierney. They've refereed Utd or City 209 times.
After the Prem look into City they need to look into the PGMOL.
Women run sex trafficking rings across Africa, from Nigeria to Benin Republic, to Ghana, to Italy. They are not “helping” men exploit women. Women are capable of being perpetrators of evil in their own right.
I’m genuinely trying to understand this and am not trying to be inflammatory.
If what’s being reported about this Dubai to Tel Aviv flight is confirmed how are people in the West supposed to process yet another act of apparent Islamist extremism without eventually asking questions about their ideologies? Obviously most Muslims are not terrorists. But at some point “most Muslims are peaceful” cannot be the end of the conversation either.
Why does radical Islam continue to produce people willing to murder complete strangers, blow themselves up, drive into crowds, massacre civilians, or apparently try to crash a plane because the victims are Jewish or Western?
If you grow up in the West it is genuinely difficult to comprehend a religious belief becoming so consuming that murdering innocent people can be rationalized as good. Then when you see versions of this happen repeatedly, it becomes harder for people to separate the extremist ideology from the religious ideas extremists claim to be acting on.
That doesn’t mean “Muslims are bad.” It means we should be able to ask why this form of religious extremism keeps appearing, what beliefs are being exploited to produce it, and why parts of the Muslim world have struggled to eradicate it…
Maybe that’s the question I’m actually trying to ask..why does it feel like we’ve spent decades learning how to respond to radicalization after it happens instead of figuring out how to prevent it? Where is the massive cultural, educational and religious effort to deradicalize people before they reach this point? What has actually worked? What hasn’t? And why aren’t we talking about that constantly?
Fair point, but there's another perspective. Dude is now on a higher level of existence; the post-material accumulation stage - the state of living only for a purpose greater than oneself. It isn't about being wealthy. It takes an uncommon mental shift,& only few humans attain it
Only time Satan dignified a human with his presence like this was when he tempted Jesus. No biblical judge, king, prophet, or apostle discussed with the devil. But Osayi from Kogi thinks he’s so important that a being whose sin was Pride would visit him to “plead”. Nigerians.
“….tinubu who was not in power that ran, snatched and grabbed it in 2023 already has the result of the 2027 election written.
Wike, the most violent election rigger today, whose personal aid has been elected a resident electoral commissioner since tinubu came to power; how can you talk about a free and fair election in 2027?
Without consequential amendment of the electoral act and our judicial system, the same madness that took place in 2023 will repeat itself in 2027….”

I must be the only one getting poorer daily and living in filth.
Everyone else must be living a fantastic life in Lagos.
That’s the only thing that makes sense.
Cause otherwise why are you trying to vote for Hamzat????
