Since the Norman era a "Pied poudre" court was held weekly where the Stag and Hounds pub in Old Market now stands. Founded to settle disputes between market traders the court (meaning "dusty feet") was one of the only means by which many #Bristol people could secure legal justice

Tree maintenance work will start on the Bristol and Bath Railway Path between Trinity Street and Clay Bottom on Monday 10 January for approximately one week. During this time, the path will remain open, but please allow a little extra time for your journey.
