In the heat:
During the day, cats only need to move enough to get from their bowl to their sleeping spot.
Owners are required to provide fresh water and if necessary fan their purring pets.
Treats should be considered a heatstroke prevention medication and should be given hourly.
My owner happily showed off her new books. I looked at her questioningly: Didn’t you bring me anything?
She had the nerve to say: Your cupboard is full of all kinds of goodies.
I don’t understand the connection. Her bookshelf is full, too. Yet she came home with a pile of books.
I had just settled into the bathtub since I thought it would be a good place for an afternoon nap when my owner turned on the shower. She found this very fun. Now I’m drying off with an offended face and I’m considering filing a complaint with the Cat Rights Office.🐈⬛
My schedule today is extremely busy: sleeping, resting, napping, lying around to conserve energy, and strategic lazing around. Meanwhile, I pondered the big questions of life and I came to the conclusion that the world would be much simpler if everyone lived like a cat.🐈⬛
The storm came in the afternoon. The sky thundered as if an entire drum band had moved into the clouds and the lightnings performed a free light show. Of course, I wasn't afraid, I just moved my headquarters under the bed for strategic reasons. Completely voluntarily.⛈️🐈⬛
