Vitold Ashurak was a civic activist and political prisoner from Belarus.
In 2020, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison for participating in protests.
On May 21, 2021, he died in custody.
The circumstances of his death remain highly questionable.
No one has been held accountable.
Mikalai Klimovich was a Belarusian blogger, civic activist, and political prisoner.
In 2023, he was sentenced to 1 year in prison for reacting to a caricature on social media.
