@hrsparrow4 I enjoyed how he made each student feel comfortable in their own classroom. This is super important because the classroom should be a second home for students and they should be able to learn in the best environment possible. #EDUC200#03Sp22
Today, we reviewed Bloom’s Taxonomy and how we would incorporate each part into lessons we will teach in the future. I did not realize how challenging it is to come up with questions that focus on one category and do not overlap into another. #EDUC200#03SP22
Today, we discussed bias and groups presented bias they found in textbooks we were randomly assigned. We also discussed ways to find bias like looking through the table of contents or by simply looking at pictures in the book. #EDUC200#03Sp22
@Katelyn_Starke This lesson made me think back and wonder what information my past teachers deemed most important or information they decided to leave out when planning the curriculum. it will be interesting to see what I chose to do in the future. #EDUC200#03Sp22
@lauraewassmer I found this graphic to be especially interesting because it really put into perspective the difference between equity and equality. It’s crazy to think how different peoples’ lives are that live so close to one another.
@katewilsonn30 yes! i found it interesting to see what other people thought made a good teacher. it was cool to see some that i thought of as well as some that i didn’t even think about because i was thinking in the sense of elementary school rather than older school.
@aliviapalmer23 Yes! Disney employees make it their mission to create a valuable and cherish-able experience for their guests. This leaves a lasting impact of the guests’ lives. #EDUC200#03Sp22
As many already know, the Cincinnati Bengals are going to the Super Bowl! This is a perfect example of a team using “Google norms” and succeeding in the end. Everyone knew their job (structure and clarity) and teammates were able to depend on each other (dependability).
Today in class we took the time to get to know a little about each other’s names and how it relates to the story of us. Names can come for many things including religious beliefs and just simply matching the first letter in your name to your siblings. #EDUC200#03Sp22
