Well done, Sir. This is a promising step towards making cervical cancer screening more accessible in our setting. Integrating HPV testing into routine antenatal care could provide an important opportunity to reach the many women who remain unscreened or underscreened and substantially improve screening uptake. Translating this evidence into routine practice could make a meaningful difference in cervical cancer prevention in Lagos.
@NursDar16@KarunaGopal1 You are right. This is not how to manage a baby born like this. So painful that many are praising such care that leaves the child with increased risk of brain damage.
A husband and wife were arguing about who should make the coffee every morning.
The wife said,
“You should make it because you get up first. That way, we won’t have to wait so long for our coffee.”
The husband replied,
“You’re the one who does the cooking, so making the coffee should be your job too. I can wait.”
The wife smiled and said,......
@thebusytrader@Mikeliberation Fibroids don't have to be malignant to affect the kidneys. They can compress on the ureters and cause backlog of urine in the affected side, gradually damaging that kidney. A blood kidney function test can be normal in this context because the other kidney is compensating.
@DanielRegha I honestly find it hard to understand how someone can be willing to share their body with a partner yet refuse to share access to their phone on the basis of “privacy.” What could reasonably be more intimate than one’s own body?
@DanielRegha ..without anxiety or defensiveness. It feels contradictory to accept that level of physical vulnerability while withholding something far less consequential like a phone, citing privacy. I would have thought this was simply common sense.
@DanielRegha Sex is not just emotional but biological, exposing a person to real risks such as sexually transmitted infections, infertility, and even cancers. In a relationship built on trust, partners should be able to handle each other’s phones comfortably in one another’s presence .
It was an interesting and engaging session on the second day of the Advanced Obstetric and Surgical Skills training for residents from training institutions affiliated with the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (#NPMCN) in Lagos.
Participants were taken through lectures and hands-on experiences focusing on topics including Assistant Vaginal Birth and the various techniques.
