Section 137(1)(j) of the Constitution is clear: presenting a forged certificate to INEC is a ground for disqualification. So the question for Tinubu is simple: Who manufactured the certificate he submitted to INEC? Two purported CSU certificates. Different dates. Different signatures. Officials whose tenures came years after 1979. Nigerians deserve authentication, not explanations. Tinubu must tell Nigerians who produced the exact certificate he gave INEC.

All of Bola’s career has been shrouded by what I now call the mystery of performance and, my god, isn’t he the don of narratives? He slaps a word (reform, in this case) on the head so many times that you begin to think it’s true. His gubernatorial career is technically lauded for building Lagos, but thanks to documentation, we now know that barely any noticeable changes happened in Lagos throughout his terms. Bola is not reforming Nigeria. Bola is looting Nigeria dry, he’s borrowing against our poverty, he’s servicing debt with the little we are earning, he’s running 3 concurrent budgets, he is not transparent with our we spend (daily transaction has been down for months), he is blackmailing politicians, he is watching children die, he is overseeing a Nigeria ridden by drugs, companies are packing up, the national % is high, we have never been this poor, he is stiffening the opposition, he is running Nigeria as a favor to friends and associates, and this one, Zach, is using national funds to support campaigns.
