@EagleHuey@_birch14_ Exactly. We literally have 1 player 23-25 years old that regularly gets a game - Hough. We butchered 3 years of drafting that should now be entering their prime. We’ve done well past 3 years filling this hole mid-season, but it’s a slow build while the young guns grow.
@_birch14_ Everyone wants to talk down their list - but look at their best players yesterday now entering their peak - Kozzie (25), Sparrow (26), Bowey (23), Rivers (25), Sharp (23). Add that to the premiership legends, a few young guns - Langford (20), Tholstrup (21) - it’s a great list.
@AvidCommentator They also benefit from interest rate increases - no mortgage, more income on retirement savings - so RBA actions are likely stoking income/spending in aggregate.
@_birch14_ Good assessment as usual. Lindsay has to come back in, he and McCarthy actually use the ball well unlike the old blokes kicking floaters or scrubbers all night. Yeo lost all pace, so something not right there. Hough starting next to Dawson might be an idea!
@_birch14_ Young better last 2 weeks with Bazzo. No lock, but not his worst 2 games. Shanahan needs to be forward as much as possible. Let’s just not bomb it over his head.
Baker needs a run in the midfield rotation. He’s lost with TMac and Lindsay better users of the ball off half back.
