His motion to suppress his statements to law enforcement: https://t.co/0py1FJskMr

@KyivIndependent Sadly I reckon the (already decided) endgame of Putin is for Ukraine to be erased as a nation and choosing a Russian passport is the only option
@reality_UsExPat@AdamKinzinger Would be shot down in the first 5 minutes of conflict and any base they were operating from within Ukraine (if such still exists) would be flattened instantly by russian missiles. The concept that they would enforce a no fly zone (especially against cruise missiles) is wishful
@AdamKinzinger Added to which this isn't an ABM capability, and cruise and ballistic missiles seem to be the major source of air offense. Conventional bombing and "air strikes" is already somewhat threatened by supplied SAM equipment
@AdamKinzinger It's not inexplicable. Max 50x 1980-90s era jets will be destroyed in an instant, as would any operating base within Ukraine. Operating from outside Ukraine is a massive geopolitical question, with mostly unpalatable answers
@Angry_Staffer Missing part is that sanctions are (hoped) to effect grass roots opposition, but it seems like that isn't happening or take years of pain with the ongoing risk that you alienate the proportion of the population that already objects and hardline-ise those who don't. Intractable
