@PYeerk The constant humiliations heaped upon classical musicians in C21st are almost impossible to bear contemplation. I console myself that many of them are German or Swiss so deserve it.

@PYeerk oh good thanks I thought so too - its for people who don't like music. The musical equiv of those books that are called 'The Midnight Library' or 'The Girl Whose Heart Was a Book' and are about liking books, for people who don't like books but want to believe they like books.

@jk_rowling @CormStrikeFan My dear father is becoming demented & in constant pain. He can no longer read his beloved Austen & Eliot. I recommended Strike - he absolutely loves them. He recently recommended them back to me, saying 'They're all about Robin Ellacott really. Strike is . . . a bit of a dill.'
