BREAKING: Pete Buttigieg HAMMERS Donald Trump over his "take away the car keys level of crazy" admission that he's threatening Greenland because he was denied the Nobel Peace Prize.

It's time to invoke the 25th Amendment...

"So I think a lot of folks are asking whether the president's behavior today toward Norway, Denmark, and Greenland is something to take seriously or whether it's a deflection from the president's failures to help with America's domestic economic problems here at home," the former Transportation Secretary said in a Youtube video entitled: "We Do Not Have To Accept This."

"The true answer is that it's both," said Buttigieg. "So this is going to be just another one of those weeks when we've got to deal with more than one thing at a time. Everyone on the news right now is talking about Greenland and I will come to that in in a minute."

"But first we've got to be clear about something playing out right here at home which is that millions of Americans health premiums have shot up this month," he said.

The always-articulate Buttigieg then explained that the House recently voted to extend tax credits to keep premiums lower, but Senate Republicans are refusing to vote on it. He wisely laid that betrayal of the American people at Trump's feet by pointing out that the president could easily bully Republicans to get on board with the tax credits with a single tweet. He has not done that because he doesn't care about suffering families. He cares only about himself.

"So that's one thing on the home front, but meanwhile, the president sent an unhinged message to Norway, like a take away the car keys level of crazy message," Buttigieg said. "Basically saying, because the Norwegian government didn't give him the Nobel Peace Prize, the Danish government needs to give him Greenland or else he will punish all of Europe. This isn't just crazy and embarrassing, it is dangerous."

"These are our allies," he continued. "I remember serving side by side with troops from Denmark in Afghanistan. These alliances have kept us safe for generations. Tearing them up makes all of us less safe here at home. And when the U.S. is even vaguely threatening its own allies, that's a destabilizing event for the entire Western world."

"Crazy" is the only way to describe Trump's behavior towards Greenland. He's in full-blown cognitive decline, with a nuclear arsenal at his fingertips, and he's abusing the vast powers of the U.S. military to settle petty personal grievances. This man should not be in the Oval Office, he should be strapped into a straight jacket inside a mental asylum.
