The same public employee union that is funding the campaign to keep the unconstitutional state income tax.
See how this works?
Extort the governor, who is then forced to sign off on blatantly illegal BS, then do photo ops flanked by hand-picked union members. If he starts to balk, do a one-day symbolic strike.
Also, fire up a primary opponent on the lead sponsor and crafter of the state income tax. Let the elected Democrats know who's boss.
Bob Ferguson and Jamie Pedersen are political prisoners. And the union bosses are the captors.
By capping annual rent increases, Washington creates an incentive for landlords to raise rents by the maximum amount allowed each year. If they don't, they permanently lower the base from which future increases are calculated.
For example, suppose rent is $2,000 and the maximum annual increase is 10%. A landlord who raises rent to $2,200 this year could increase it to $2,420 next year. But if they leave rent at $2,000 out of goodwill, the highest rent they could charge next year would be only $2,200. The $220 difference is lost forever.
This is a classic example of a perverse incentive: a policy intended to slow rent growth can encourage landlords to raise rents more consistently than they otherwise would, because failing to do so carries a permanent financial cost.
Stop the Washington Income Tax.

Washingtonians: Are you curious how to vote for the August 4th Primary? Here are Endorsements by Concerned Taxpayers of Washington.
You may have concerns about elections in WA, but until those are addressed, PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THE PRIMARY. Ballots are on their way to you now, or may already have arrived. This is how I'll be voting:

The data suggests there are 1.8 cars per house hold in WA state with an average 13,000 miles driven. The chart below calculates the 55 cent per gallon impact of the CCA climate grift on each house hold every year
We were promised the CCA would only be pennies… just like you can be totally believe the promise that the income tax won’t come for you…
This is Washington state government in a nutshell:
- Claim there is a horrible problem that is causing suffering
- Promise government will fix it with new taxes and bureaucracy
- Fail to help those you claim are suffering
- Leave those who believed your promises worse off #waleg
NEW WA STATE POLL JUST DROPPED (and oh my is it bad for the Governor)
In a new Cygnal Poll, Governor Bob Ferguson's approval rating is sinking to the bottom of Puget Sound, with a NEGATIVE 10.4% opinion of him.
With an Unfavorable rating of 49.5% and a Favorable rating of only 39.1%, the Governor's approval rating is about the same level that former Gov. Jay Inslee's was at by the end of his third term.
In fact, Ferguson's Very Unfavorable rating of 37% is almost tied with his entire Favorable rating!
Ouch. But also...yea.
Governor Bob Ferguson ran as a Moderate and has instead been the most Progressive, spend happy, tax hungry, backwards thinking Governor our state has seen in modern times.
And Washingtonians seem to agree with that assessment.
(More poll results coming...)
NEW: Is T-Mobile the next company to bail on Washington?
On March 2, 2026, T-Mobile CEO Srini Gopalan wrote directly to State House Finance Chair Rep. April Berg requesting an amendment to SB 6346 (the Income Tax bill), asking lawmakers to repeal the Advertising Services provision of the Sales Tax on Services because it disproportionately affected Washington-based employers.
He said, T-Mobile's "strong preference is for a full repeal of the Advertising Services provision." If that was not possible, the company wanted "at minimum" repeal of the portion taxing creative advertising services.
T-Mobile argued the tax created a competitive disadvantage because companies headquartered in Washington would pay taxes on creative advertising services while competitors headquartered elsewhere would not.
He said "Advertising... is not a luxury expense," adding that the tax "results in an unintended competitive disadvantage for companies that choose to headquarter and employ workers in our state."
"Local coffee shops, family-owned restaurants, retail stores, service providers and nonprofits all rely on advertising."
The Democratic-controlled Legislature did not repeal the advertising tax as T-Mobile requested.
🚨 BREAKING: A man named Mohamed Bangura has STABBED a police officer in Washington State, luring them in with a false 911 call.
“MOHAMED.”
The media will try to sweep this under the rug.
We have a MASSIVE issue.
NEW🚨: The U.S. House passed the SAVE America Act today, 217–209.
House GOP leadership attached it to a must-pass national security and State Department funding bill to force Senate action on requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. President Trump has been pushing hard to get it to his desk.
It now heads to the Senate, where the same requirements have stalled twice under the 60-vote filibuster math.
And to cut through the noise: no, this did not "merge" the U.S. and Israeli militaries. There is no bill that does that. The claim is false. Here's what actually passed

Washington state officials decline to investigate empty daycares for potential fraud: report
A daycare in West Seattle received more than $229,000 between July 2025 and March 2026, but residents told the outlet repeatedly that no daycare operated there.

Chris Reykdal is a poor public speaker. Partly, he doesn't speak clearly. But mostly, he doesn't THINK clearly.
His belief that Seattle Times & I have a "strange obsession" with him is delusional. NO ONE is obsessed with him. We just want him out of office so he stops damaging WA schools.
