@KatjaThePapist Nice! I was lucky to be able to source mine from the out of country cathedral I was baptized in. Pretty surreal when I finally got to hold it.
@CrazyVibes_1 If she seemingly has this package and has been “actively” looking its very hard to imagine she is not the problem, it’s not guaranteed, there are infinite factors but speaking statistically she is most likely the problem.
Mike was truly ahead of his time. He tried to bridge philosophy, science, and bodybuilding. While I don't agree with everything he concluded and he didn't always articulate things in a way that was easily digestible for the masses, often getting too abstract to the point of sounding absurd to casual readers he remains a very important and influential figure in bodybuilding. It’s no accident that many modern training styles are converging with his principles and are now being applied beyond strict bodybuilding into general health and fitness.
@Xuser_5000@timotheeology I’d agree with this bench press is not the greatest overall strength indicator. push-ups, pull ups , dips, squats , standing overhead presses emulate real world scenarios much better. Although having high bench numbers is still bad ass lol.
Arthur Jones , Mike Mentzer, Dorian Yates is a great school of thought for most nattys. A great way to pack on some muscle and for overall health long as you have a descent diet and keep it natty. It’s especially well suited for the working family man who doesn’t want to live in the gym.
At this point you are speculating “her making it clear” is doing way to much work, I would not go that far. But for the sake of the argument let’s say she has “made it clear” it could also be argued that if a man sees that he is clearly not pleasing his wife sexually and doesn’t say or do anything about it and instead chooses to retreat and only go for it once a month, that is also on him, it is both partners responsibility to step up and try to improve things. Maybe he has maybe he hasn’t maybe it was half assed trying there too many factors to make definitive conclusions here, so I would leave it at they need to truly talk it out and try to actually do something about it.
Communication is vital, she definitely needs to communicate the issues to her husband. My point was that previous promiscuity isn’t the sole cause of unsatisfactory sex in a marriage, it can definitely contribute but in most cases is something that can be solved like you said by communicating the issues to eachother making a plan and trying in Ernest to execute it. The dude wanting it only once a month is a big red flag , but for all we know maybe he has a medical condition or something . But unless they talk it through they wont likely find out.
@JustinThyme67@mrpremier07@ChrisTheoX@drnibble Demanding epistemic accountability isn't an appeal to authority. It's a demand for methodological transparency, argumentative rigor, and independent scrutiny.
Peer review doesn't establish truth (I never claimed that) or guarantee logical validity. It subjects an argument's premises, inferences, methodology, and engagement with competing positions to specialist criticism.
Dyer isn't merely claiming that Orthodoxy offers a plausible or superior explanation of intelligibility. He's claiming the impossibility of every contrary worldview. That's an extraordinary burden requiring a demonstration that Eastern Orthodoxy and its monopatrial trinitarian formulation uniquely and necessarily grounds intelligibility while every genuine alternative fails.
If his TAG resolves foundational problems in epistemology, logic, and metaphysics, where is the sustained, rigorous demonstration? After two decades of "expertise" and many years of public advocation, the apparent absence of a peer-reviewed formulation raises a legitimate question about its methodological maturity.
Nor is this anti-theistic bias. Christian philosophers and analytic theists routinely publish in leading philosophical journals. YouTube debates can communicate arguments, but rhetorical success isn't logical demonstration.
I'm not arguing that Dyeristic TAG is false because it hasn't been peer-reviewed. I'm asking why a supposedly groundbreaking demonstration of universal necessity hasn't been formally developed and subjected to sustained specialist scrutiny.
That's not an appeal to authority. It's a demand that the argument meet the burden of proof its own conclusion creates.
@HadesUndead@DoorDashThomist@ViaEximii Hmmm, just like I thought it was obvious that I was speaking in the context of his “orthodox transcendental argument”
