@taliaotg Iโm sympathetic to the intentions of a campaign to โdefund the policeโ but it is simply not pragmatic policy in any way, shape, or form.
@RaymondSultan Even when they had Kyrie, KD, and Harden, the Nets were still the ticket I bought when I wanted to see the road team play because it was too expensive to see LeBron, Steph, Giannis, etc at MSG.
@WembyCentral@Knickshottakes All of that may very well be true. You know what will also be true? The Knicks defeated the Spurs to win the NBA Championship in 2026.
@rBillSimmonsPod Carmelo Anthony? Never reached the mountaintop but a pure scorer who retired top 10 all time scoring and had some very high peaks along the way.
@W_B_Rick The first two years had storylines and subplots. After KD was involved the most memorable moment was JR forgetting the score in G1 2018, ruining LeBrons masterpiece.
@shamarD24@Bryce_Estelle KAT was a huge part of the teams success during the middle rounds of the playoffs. Giannis is past his prime, perpetually injured, and will make it harder for Brunson to score inside because he canโt stretch the floor. KAT has flaws, but at his best he is exactly what NY needs.
@statictype@mattyglesias All the picks in the world will never guarantee you a championship. All of the Knicks starters are under contract for the next two seasons at least and all are in their prime. No reason to think this team wonโt remain competitive in the near future.
@sleepy_devo For one thing, you do need an ID to register to vote. You are not automatically eligible to vote once your turn 18, you have to register with an official ID.
Mainly, itโs a solution to a problem that simply does not exist. There is no demonstrable proof of widespread voter fraud
@_nydyl did you all really expect him to turn down $87M and a near guaranteed ring just to stay in NY? I wish he wouldโve stayed too but letโs be serious here.
@VinceDaoTV@ColtSTaylor I wish the Dems were as Machiavellian as you imagine they are in your head. If they were that traitor would be in a jail cell instead of the Oval Office.
@signulll this program has existed for a long time. Beyond that I donโt understand how anyone could oppose a government program that uses tax dollars to hire New Yorkers to perform a public service in an emergency.
