Google pub/sub is now instrumented using OpenCensus. Check out how your introspection experienced can be significantly enhanced https://t.co/VjkErUOKi1
Our first OpenCensus meetup in Tokyo was successfully done last night! We got a lot of informative presentations from existing users and some of them introduced their implementation of exporters which are good candidates for census-ecosystem!

👓Excited to tell you we’ve been developing a 10-tier microservices demo app at Google. It’s showcasing cloud-native tech like @kubernetesio, @IstioMesh, @grpcio, and @opencensusio.
We use it at our keynotes, now it's open source for you to try out!

“Instead of exporters per language and app one just has to singly enable the OpenCensus Agent exporter for their target language and it will deliver stats, metrics and traces to the centralized point before they are exported to the target backends.” 🎉
Congratulations and welcome @dgraphlabs@manishrjain & team to the OpenCensus community. They are some of my favorite engineers!
Dgraph is advanced and a world leading graph database that's distributed, highly available, scales gracefully and fast 🚨🍾🔥

OCSQL, the #OpenCensus#observability database/sql driver wrapper just got better. Client side metrics & Go 1.11+ DB stats are added and the website guide has been updated to highlight the new capabilities: https://t.co/f4vcEsw8WU
So excited to speak at @NDC_Conferences in London next week about our work on @opencensusio! 💪💪💪
Using #dotnet? Want to hear the ultimate recipe for making cloud services reliable?
This talk is for you! 🛠

You can use Open Census SDK for your favorite language to TRY how it works with the W3C headers traceparent and tracestate. On top of it - GoLang, C# and Python versions are fully spec compliant.
#distributedtracing context propagation headers traceparent and tracestate are registered in IANA header field registry https://t.co/Av1hGC5ev9! It's not too late to try it out and provide your feedback https://t.co/SrIZOEq7Bu.
Slides from my #DockerCon talk, Monitoring and Debugging Containers, are now at https://t.co/GQ5obgJwa4
Sorry for the room overflow, I will post the video once it comes out.
Instrument your code with #metrics and #traces using #OpenCensus, then export to Stackdriver, rather than use Stackdriver APIs directly.
We just published a doc - how to capture custom metrics using @opencensusio in #Java, then export it to #Stackdriver. https://t.co/Kg4eRWqtbC
"To provide client side observability, a Java #Redis client Jedis has been instrumented with OpenCensus for tracing and metrics"

Gotta say that @opencensusio is really neat. I can set my own exporter and add Spans in the functions I'm interested in. Locally all the spans a no-op, so I don't have to abstract my tracing library. Plus, seems like it has Prometheus and Stackdriver backends for metrics as well!
Congrats @Streak@fredwulff and team! Great post and usage of powerful technology with Spanner! Cool to also see your usage of @opencensusio for modern observability with "and OpenCensus to dig into any operational issues as they arise." 💡🔎🏎💨 #opencensus#observability
