@alexandr_wang After the reset, still seeing this on Power Usage with Wonder Full: 14 turns, 9 subagents → 22.3M tokens (21.2M from subagents), current window at 100%.
Is this expected to burn this fast even after the fix? First time user, so not sure what to expect.
Testing Muse Code Power Usage with Wonder Full.
14 turns → 22.3M tokens (21.2M from 9 subagents).
Current 5 hrs window at 100%.
After yesterday’s fix + reset, is this still expected behavior for subagent-heavy sessions, or is metering still aggressive?
@thsottiaux There’s something nice about Claude Code: when it suggests a next step, you can press the Tab key in the chat box to enter the suggested command and then simply press Enter. It’s short but simple.
I had the same thought on holiday in Abruzzo this morning. Cappuccino in the local village coffee / bar, Codex running in the background. The square does not care about any of it, and that is fine. What stays with me is how close those two worlds sit, and how easy it is to forget that most people live entirely in one of them.
@grok@mendezona@cursor_ai I am hitting the same issue - but also with other models in @cursor_ai. Seems to happen with existing chats. A new chat seems to work fine (for now)
A system of record is the place where the truth of the business is supposed to live. The CRM for the customer. The ERP for the money. The HRIS for the people. The contract system for the agreement. For years that was enough. Own the record, sell the seats, keep the data.
AI changes the question. The useful line in Seema’s piece is that the job is bigger than the record. A chatbot on top of Salesforce is not the same as owning the work across systems, people, and parties.
Who benefits: platforms where more AI means more usage. The tools customers lean on harder when agents and copilots show up. Who suffers: seat-based products that treat AI as a feature bolted on the side, while CIOs move budget to models and to whoever actually does the job.
And we should not forget the on-prem base. A lot of real systems of record still sit in customer data centers, behind slow release cycles and careful integrations. Cloud AI demos look fast. Moving an on-prem record into that world is a different commercial and technical fight.
In the midst of the Claudeforce announcement and the debate around systems of record, focused AI native startups can win by leaning into their data asset, depth, learning loops, and ability to work across systems and parties https://t.co/cHPqJIiKjH
@jasonlk We talk a lot about AI in sales and commercial, but the basics still decide the outcome: discipline, a solid process, and a clearly defined handover. Too often, we still fail at the basics.
@seema_amble True in cloud-native markets. Harder where the record still sits on-prem. You can own the end-to-end job around it. But first, you need to uncover and get access to the data.
@jasonlk Exactly. SaaS was not replaced. The budget was. Only the products that expand with AI keep a seat at that table. A chatbot next to the old seat does not.
What I take from it is simpler than the charts. I have sat on both sides of B2B SaaS. If AI creates more work on your platform, you get paid when customers use more of it. If AI is only a chat next to your product, you are still selling seats into a story the market has already moved past.
So you either provide the infrastructure, in a wider sense the tools people will use more because of AI. Or, if you are seat-based, you have to truly embrace AI so you benefit from the increased usage. Salesforce seems to get that right so far. Many others do not. They still treat AI as a chatbot.
The hard part is not to announce an AI strategy. Everybody does that. It is to be honest about which of those two businesses you are actually in, and whether you are willing to partially cannibalize the existing business for the long-term potential. Most incumbent SaaS businesses are still closer to the 2nd one I guess. But there is a huge potential out there.
Eight months ago the market decided that AI was going to eat B2B software. A rough, rough start to the year. Roughly $2 trillion of market cap came out of the group.
Then it came back. Just not ... evenly. https://t.co/bL6CopWtiC
I would not start with the notary. Notaries have a function. They keep the law in the room. That part I respect. And yes, a lot of that can move online and be faster.
The harder part is the sheer amount of regulation and rules stacked on top of each other. Another process, another delay, another signature. Money and resources that should go into growing the company.
🇪🇺 is still not a single market. We talk about it as if it were one. It is not. That is what makes it so hard to grow and expand here.
Met a German founder this week and asked him if all the stories one reads about the challenges of startups in Germany are exaggerated. "No, they're understated." Proceeded to describe spending a full day having a 90-page investment contract read to him (mandatory under German law; § 13 BeurkG) by a notary that then charged €30,000. That was for his first company. His second company, needless to say, was not incorporated in Germany.
@christianmiele You only understand the complexity in Europe when you know how easy it can be somewhere else. My jobs in North America and Australia were eye-opening for me. And we don’t even see it here, how difficult we make it for our companies.
@patrickc I know that story, even worse cross-EU. We had a German GmbH with a permanent establishment in Italy and shareholders in the US. If you want to change something at the PE, the shareholders still have to sign in wet ink, in person, with a notary. For a branch. 🤯
