EPIC.
World #1 Carlos Alcaraz, who barely moved for an hour after being two sets up, comes back from 3-5 down in the 5th set and beats #3 Alexander Zverev 6-4, 7-6(5), 6-7(3), 6-7(4), 7-5 to reach his 1st career final at the #AusOpen.
5 hours, 28 minutes.
GOTTA LOVE TENNIS!!!
#F1TheMovie was a great watch. Manages to hit all the beats of a sports drama while offering an F1 crash course to the outsiders plus cameos to delight fans. Spectacular cinematography - best viewed in IMAX. Brad Pitt’s biggest star vehicle to date, as it turns out, is an F1 car.
@saladi_rahul Incredible performance today especially on long rallies and drop shots as he couldn't cut through Zverev at the baseline. Hoping for a nice semis against Sinner
In sport, there's nothing more satisfying than watching highlights of Indian bowlers toying with the opposition batsmen on a seaming pitch, in their own backyard.
"In sport, there’s nothing more satisfying than hearing a big crowd go silent"
Said it yesterday, did it today 🙌

Dear Vinesh, It is said that sport is a celebration of human will. I have known that to be true many times in my career but never has it resonated more than today. As I look around me, I see a nation and its people celebrate your unyielding resolve.
You are a fighter – on and off the mat. Through you, we are learning what it means to never lose the fight in us, even as a loss weighs heavily. You embody the true spirit of a warrior.
Not all victories look alike. Some end up as a glittering souvenir in a cabinet but the ones that matter more find their way into the stories we tell our children. And every child in this country will know the champion you are. Every child will grow up wanting to face life with the resilience you have displayed. I thank you for that.
Respect,
Abhinav Bindra

Coming into the Olympics, Yui Susaki is 82-0
She's not just the favourite in the women's 50kg category. She's the favourite across every category there is -- men's or women's
In all her international career, Susaki has never even been pushed. She’s beaten World champions and Olympic medallists for fun.
She’s too fast. Too slick. Too technical. Too intelligent. Too damn perfect.
Can someone beat Susaki at the Olympics? Sure, and then perhaps then they can go and supplex God. She’s crushed everyone who was anyone. But Vinesh Phogat is not anyone.
82-1.
Vinesh is the ‘one’.
This is a win that kick starts one of the most incredible Olympic runs that I can think of. Now Vinesh is in the Olympic final where she takes on Sarah Hildebrandt of the USA. What an honour to be able to write about what I consider the greatest upset in Indian Olympic history.

What an awesome brilliant fantastic incredible win for India over Great Britain in the hockey QF.
That too, after playing with 10 players for most of the game.
I propose that Sreejesh be immediately made our Defense Minister.
