One poss scary reading of the reason the govt's content to exclude 3m ish people from support schemes could be its prime aim was to support the economy, not the individual.

If it thinks its hit a critical mass for that, it can accept collateral damage of #excludedUK individuals

I do not know Tim who included me on this tweet but he touches on a key point ... the Treasury Select Committee Report at the start of this week highlighted groups who had been excluded (unintentionally perhaps) from the generous Government schemes.Their plight warrants action.
