One of my favorite things about having a partner is that you automatically have someone to do everything with.
“Let’s see a movie together”
“Let’s read a book together”
“Do you want to take a walk?”
Companionship🤌🏽🤭
Petition to bring back yearning because this new wave of ‘nonchalance’ is ruining what’s left of the dating pool.
We get it, nobody wants to look pressed or desperate but do you think this “I don’t care” energy is a personality trait or maybe a response to being hurt in the past OR not wanting to be embarassed OR are we delusional about how much people like each other.

Maturing is realizing that when you’re in a relationship with someone who genuinely wants to grow with you, they will always address what does not sit right with them. It isn’t a personal attack; but a healthy sign that they value the relationship and want to make it work.
The best skill I've developed is figuring out how to stay in a good mood even when there’s so many reasons I could be in a bad one. when you start doing this you don’t have bad days you have bad moments in a good day.
My man called me and asked what I was doing. I said the grocery store. He asked which one… I told him. We’re chatting as I’m shopping. I go to checkout he surprises me at the front of the store dancing with my fav smoothie & snacks & loads my groceries.
$10 & i was HAPPY! 😂
Your partner coming to you about something you’ve done wrong isn’t a personal attack. It’s a healthy sign they value the relationship and want to make it work – it's a heads up. You communicate, you fix it, you stay. That's emotional maturity. That's commitment. That's love.
