Developer Camp x Google Cloud
Developer Camp Manila is proud to partner with Google Cloud to power this year’s hackathon experience. All registered participants will receive exclusive Google Cloud credits. Participants are encouraged to explore Gemini, AI Studio, and vibe coding tools—including AI Studio and Antigravity—to rapidly prototype and ship real applications. Whether it’s a game, a productivity tool, or a startup MVP, these credits empower developers to go from idea to live product during the camp.
In addition to credits, Google Cloud will provide educational resources on how to use AI Studio for vibe coding. equipping participants with practical frameworks to launch and deploy their own AI-powered apps.
This partnership ensures that every builder at Developer Camp doesn’t just hack—but ships.
Partnership highlight of the week: LevangieLabs
@blevlabs is the CEO and founder of @LevangieLabsand one of the most impactful builders to emerge from the @developercamp_ ecosystem in 2025. During the Developer Camp Hackathon 2025 in San Francisco, Brayden stood out not only as a winner, but as the participant with the highest level of interaction and support across teams. Consistently helping others move faster and think deeper.
Brayden is leading research toward what aims to become the world’s first true cognitive agentic framework. This work goes beyond today’s assistants, and beyond what most current agent setups are capable of. The systems being built are designed to operate as experts rather than helpers, executing complex tasks autonomously, uninterrupted, and with genuine reasoning depth. Early benchmarks already place this research ahead of widely known AI systems such as Perplexity, ChatGPT,Gemini, underscoring both the technical and execution discipline behind @LevangieLabs.
Our founder @dom is not only an early investor, but also a strategic advisor. Brayden is wrapping up a funding round to expand access to this framework and accelerate development. The intent is clear: this technology is too meaningful to remain constrained and it’s usecase grows with broader access and adoption.
We see @LevangieLabs and Brayden as a natural extension of what Developer Camp exists to support: deep research, community-first contribution, and builders who push the frontier while lifting others along the way.

Wednesday $developer token update:
1. The flywheel continues. One of our @DeveloperCamp_ champions has again given back to our community—in code. https://t.co/kWIdD2WzFk is being built and tested now.
Not only will this be useful for @developer_token but we are designing it for use with any token. First transaction coming soon!
Your @developer_token goodness for today:
1. Initial set of experienced angel investor judges lined up for our next event, with announcement coming tomorrow
2. $developer token will once again be the main award for winners, details to follow
3. Flywheel of $developer angels backing @developercamp_ startups has begun, with two firms now supported by three whales 🐋
Impact innovation is at the heart of what we do. It is the core of our belief. This is the missing piece of a huge puzzle that we are solving together, in the open.
Thank you for your support. https://t.co/ZuT9QGN2Px
$developer token update, feeling pretty stoked:
1. The AutoBuy team has figured out key technical aspects and have discovered a way to self-fund the open source project + service. This was a large hurdle that will now accelerate development.
2. The https://t.co/kWIdD2WzFk dashboard is now in design phase and I’ve seen the first draft. Very compelling.
3. The team is occupied with a decision of which piece to ship first. There are at least eight (8) pieces, each requiring a solution and then needing to be stitched together.
4. Legal language for AutoBuy partnership is now in review. Anyone will be welcome to participate, as long as they adhere to the guidelines. More news on the guidelines to come once this review is finished.
5. Plan is to announce location + sponsors of our next IRL event this week, followed by speakers and key figures in the following weeks.
Thanks to everyone hodling and helping us stay positive and productive! Keep it going, the team is working hard to deliver for you 🤓
$developer is a part of the new generation of @helpdotfun social impact tokens with a huge @developercamp_ community behind it.
It was born of the same hackathon tradition that led to Twitter itself.
As we approach our 20th Anniversary, we’ve transitioned into a nonprofit in order to give grants to our winners and support companies like @TempleRun and @Square that have come from the event.
The token is a the epicenter of an ecosystem that supports the future of work.
This cup draws deep. Kampai!

A thread 🧵👇
Special things about $developer:
1. Returns provide grants to hackathon winners for immediate project proof.
2. Bootstrapped by grants, projects become companies.
3. Companies leverage investor/judge relationships to start funding cycle.
4. Leverage increases as major sponsors lean in.
5. Explosive GTM once companies validate product-market fit via community participation.
6. Growth tracks alongside giving because these companies are impact-oriented from inception.
7. Giving leads to more events, grants and goodwill.
8. Repeat.
9. Repeat.
10. Repeat.

Working super hard every day on a revised and expanded $developer whitepaper. Remembering it’s only been 10 days since the first version. Seems like years, I know.
