Seems scary if you haven’t done it, but it’s one of those “if you know, you know” that it’s a great procedure. A little technical and my best tip is to osteotome the allograft RETROgrade from the articular surface towards the carpal bones. Better angle

Bridge plate is fine, but I used radio-carpal pins and it was great. 3 years out and remains stable, playing tennis, working as ER doc. Send a PM I’ll send PPT
