@elonmusk Maybe if Congress gets around to passing the legislation that would make it illegal…

@jk_rowling@SwipeWright You know what takes even less effort? Realizing you don’t have a fundamental right to or even a good justification to expect someone else’s medical information.
See, that’s the bit I don’t get. Why are you so interested in what’s between a person’s legs and what their DNA is?
@jk_rowling The irony here is thick. I guess it just proves that even the villain sees themselves as the noble heroine fighting the good and just fight even as they oppress and dehumanize others to shape the world as they’ve decided it was meant to be.
One of us understands the difference between telling an author what their work means & drawing parallels between that meaning and a different but similar concept.
Raised a muggle, taught to hide true wizarding nature, embraces self truth, fulfills potential.
Yeah, no parallels
@takemeto_texas@RoKhanna Overspending…. Spending over what? Oh yeah, spending over revenue. Hey, where do we get revenue? Maybe we can ask the Internal Revenue Service. Oh yeah. The bulk of the government’s revenue comes from taxes. Maybe we shouldn’t cut taxes so when we spend we don’t overspend.
Hey, @enoss, are you the Elliot Noss that is CEO of the slipshod MVNO, @tingFTW? Do you know they don't have a way to escalate above a supervisor? #customerDiservice
I had gone out of my way to promote @tingFTW every chance I got. One botched CDMA shutdown later and I've gone from an active net promoter to a VERY active net detractor. How is everyone else feeling about lost mobile numbers? BTW, how much do billboards cost?#tingFTL
@tingFTW has lost my wife's long-standing number in their botched handling of the T-Mobile/Sprint CDMA shutdown. They claim to have tried to contact users, but I have no email, no text, and no call/voicemail from them. They claim I can't get it back. #customerDiservice#tingFTL
@SarahKSilverman First you need to kill the filibuster, then pass those laws, but that just creates new court challenges that go to SCOTUS. We need voting rights, judicial reform including expanded SCOTUS and a federal fix for gerrymandering to fix the system. Fix government. Then nail it down.
@JuiceofHazy @NoLieWithBTC I tell you about the $1.4B net income the made in 2Q2021 and you start trying to use numbers from 2020 and even 2019 in an attempt to refute that? Then you start talking about adjEBITDA and accounting practices when it is an investment metric, not an accounting practice.
@daviewolf83@WRAL Because it isn’t about just protecting you. With delta we know that the vaccinated cane spread the virus if they get a breakthrough infection. Testing the vaccinated let’s them isolate the infected so they don’t give it to others.
@this1wierdgirl@ericgeller Meh. It's an EO that directs the Sec. of Commerce to propose a regulation for public comment. That likely would end in enough public outcry that no such regulation will be established. Messy. Providers would have to drop lots of customers whenever their country made a list.
It sounds like @ColemanOnline has a whole lot of complaints about exactly this sort of thing. Surely if they value their customers and their reputation they will at least respond to these complaints and try to make things right.
I am very dissatisfied With my furniture purchase made in May which Arrived five months later damaged and unusable. @Colemanonline furniture has yet to fix the situation in 7 months and now want to charge shipping and a restocking fee for their damaged furniture to be returned.
