Come listen to episode 50 where we talk with @mairin about designing for and with open source software. She's got some great insights that can be applied both in and outside of design.

Yes! If your organization needs help desk support for Blender, now you have someone to call.
Of course, if you need something more involved than that, we're here to help.
Announcing the release of the Export to .blend add-on! It's a handy little exporter to get objects, collections, or nodes to their own .blend files... with a few nice bonus features. #b3d

Yay! I finally got a comment server (Isso, if you're curious) working on my podcast site. Took a lot more effort than I expected, but it works!
Guess I should make an episode about this. :)

No new episode today... but I am this -> <- close to getting comments working with Isso.
In the meantime, I had the privilege of being a guest on @TheSurvivalPodc yesterday to talk about open source (it's not as weird of a fit as you might expect).

@dillospace@BlenderToday There's an idea! Though from a cognitive load perspective, maintaining a codebase might be just as heavy as maintaining a full forum. 🙂
Still... definitely worth considering.
For a wide variety of reasons, I've opted *not* to re-enable Disqus comments on https://t.co/PteS8YDHgI. However, comments on episodes is still important...
Solutions should be open source, relatively low-maintenance, easy to integrate with @GoHugoIO, and easy for users...
I could also try using something like @staticmanapp. That's nice because hosting overhead is low, but I'm not sure I want to be so tightly bound to @github for my commenting system. I wonder if it would work with just a plain git repo...
