NASA's "Orbital Debris Quarterly News" released today.

My personal highlight in this issue: the HUSIR and Goldstone radar measurements of small debris in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). These measurements are of the uncatalogued debris population too small to be reliably tracked and maintained.

A surprise: a new population of debris objects since mid-2024 at an inclination of approximately 88 degrees and at an altitude < 500 km, but without an identified source or discrete event. Hmmm......
