New: Kalamazoo, Michigan Shooting Leaves 4 Hospitalized After Early Morning Fight

On Saturday, around 3:15 a.m., Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to shots fired in the 2700 block of West Michigan Avenue, finding a 19-year-old man shot in the heel and grazed.

Three more men (two 23-year-olds with foot wounds, one 23-year-old with a stomach wound) sought hospital treatment; a 21-year-old had minor debris injuries. All expected to recover.

One has been arrested on weapons charges, two additional people are of interest from the incident.

— Un intento de robo a una caseta de vigilancia resultó en la muerte de tres personas, quienes presuntamente intentaron sustraer objetos del lugar. De acuerdo con las autoridades, uno de los hombres falleció en el lugar mientras que los otros dos murieron más tarde debido a las heridas.

Las autoridades locales confirmaron el hecho y detallaron que el incidente ocurrió en un área rural. Según las primeras versiones, los presuntos ladrones abordaron la caseta sin prever la presencia de un guardia armado que se encontraba en su interior, quien logró defender el lugar.

Este medio consultó a analistas en seguridad, quienes indicaron que este tipo de incidentes son reflejo de la creciente preocupación por la seguridad en zonas rurales.
