Today Parliament held a special sitting so Mps could pay tribute to our fallen comrade Hon. Gen. Moses Ali. He was a great champion of attracting development and wealth creation programs to West Nile.

Yesterday i tasked our presiding officers of the 12th Parliament to allocate more time for committee sittings to ensure they critically scrutinise and complete all their respective assighnments/ business sent from the house in a timely manner
I was honoured to receive an award from the Uganda National Innovative Graduates Wealth Association representing youth graduates in the country.
They paid me a courtesy call at my office this mornimg and wish them all the best in their acievements

Today i attended the thanksgiving prayers in the constituency for the new priest ordained yesterday at Nebbi Cathedral Rev. Fr. Raphael Ochopi Santo held at Mbaro East - Nyaravur / Angal Town Council
I attended the ordination ceremony of 5 Deacons and 6 Priests today at the Nebbi Cathedral grounds. The beautiful service was led by Rev. Bishop Constatine Rupiny. Wishing them all the best in their new assighnments
We held our first district roads committee meeting to discuss implementation of the shs1bn roads maintainance grant and road fund for the fy 2026/27. In attendance were all the district leaders including the area MPs @PNyamutoro and hon Ongiertho Emmanuel
Earlier today in Nebbi together with the area MPs , we held our first roads committee meeting to discuss the budget plan for this financial year.
We also endorsed Hon.Emmanuel Ongiertho, MP Nebbi Municipality as our chair.
I got an opportunity in the house today to remind the Minister of works and transport in relations to the USD20m loan the house processed in the 11th parliament for upgrading the 16kms Nebbi - Goli road to tarmac
Yesterday, Members of the NRM Parliamentary Caucus convened at the Office of the President to elect the Caucus Executive Committee and endorse flag bearers for the two vacant seats in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
The meeting provided an opportunity to listen, deliberate, conduct elections, and build consensus on matters of national importance.
The Caucus resolved to approve the following Executive Committee members:
• Hon. Isaac Ismail Otimgiu – Vice Chairperson • Hon. Brenda Namukuta – General Secretary • Hon. Derrick Orone – Publicity Secretary • Hon. Hope Grania Nakazibwe – Treasurer
The Caucus also endorsed the following flag bearers for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA): • Hon. Stella Kiryowa • Hon. Fred Rwakaizi Bangumya
The following nominees to the Pan-African Parliament were approved:
• Hon. Sarah Najuma – Woman MP, Nakaseke District • Hon. Arinaitwe Rwakajara – Workers MP • Hon. Anthony Akol – MP, Kilak North
As we prepare for the NRM LC1 and Woman LC primaries on 10 July 2026, I call upon all members to mobilize and support NRM flag bearers across all 72,000 villages.

West Nile Paliamentary caucus excom met earlier today to discuss a number of issues including the 2024/25 budget priorities, meetings with MDA's & devt partners ,meeting with WENDA, funding sources for our caucus plus oversight on some stagnant projects in west Nile sub region.
