I'm shutting down. I can't tell you when @OttawaParamedic is #levelzero anymore though I like to think I helped put it in the public domain.
The rest of health-care in Ontario is choked out. It just needs to be funded.
Good night and good luck.

‘This is unacceptable’: Elderly Niagara Falls woman waits nearly an hour and a half for an ambulance after falling, injuring herself. https://t.co/6VIkO6rZRy
@MakingRounds No, they can't. The acting chief handled the media inquiry for this incident only after the public and media became aware through this Twitter account. Level Zero has come to public attention largely due to whistleblowers on social media.
If we're doing cheeky animal memes...
@mirgray@mamam00se@OttawaParamedic This paramedic thinks the story is the loss of life when potentially lifesaving care didn't arrive when it should have. And that it will happen again unless we act.
The available information doesn't tell us whether it would have a difference here, but it will sooner or later.
Last night an elderly patient fell at home at 20:00. EMS called but none available to be dispatched until 1AM. Laying on the ground, with a broken femur, for 5hrs. Imagine that was your family member and that's the state we're at @OntarioHealthOH@fordnation

"I want to give the people of Ontario reassurance that if your child is sick in the province of Ontario, you are going to get the health care you deserve & you need in a timely manner."

Can you guess why the Ontario government is appealing the court ruling that struck down Bill 124? Allowing Emergency Departments to close? Leaving hospitals so stretched that they’re calling the Red Cross for help?
To manufacture a health crisis & pave the way for privatization.
