Honestly I'm not using PostHog myself yet, my app is a desktop one and I haven't added real analytics to it. Though from what I've seen and heard the setup is pretty light, you add their SDK, send a few events like onboarding done and trial started, and build the funnel in the dashboard
Interesting! Might have to try it, I've had the opposite experience so far. For example I just checked my travel posts and search is like 0.1% for me, almost everything comes from FYP, even though people search exactly what I post about. Did search pick up for you once the account grew or was it like that from the start?
@g_buildz_apps Can confirm on my side, my wholesome couple question decks got about twice the views of my tense/flirty/ragebait ones. The ragebait got way more shares though, so I'm still torn on which one to keep making
Nice, using the app every day should make creating content easier! As a heads up, from an account I analyzed, I noticed a pattern where slideshows that promote the app on the last slide do better than slideshows about the app itself, just something to consider. Are you planning the mention as a last slide or somewhere in the middle? Either way, good luck!
@jackfriks Love notes as little doodles is such a cute idea. What happened in the meantime that made you want to relaunch it instead of just shipping updates??
@GrownixApp Oh damn. On my account I warmed up for 10 minutes, and got 1000 views on the first post, then 1100 on the second one. So it checks out with your experience yesterday
@muoit7@rsalimx Not the guy you asked, but my small posts mostly rode it. Part 1 did 1k, part 2 did 1.1k, then parts 3 to 5 landed between 280 and 800. The whole account slowed down around then too though, so I can't blame it all on the parts
