The most beneficial project financially will connect the 2 oceans by digging a channel through the choke point in the southern part of thailand.
This project has been under discussion for over 30 years and is not going to happen. Nationalist cites National Security and Sovereignty concern of the southern part of the country. Also some other choke point that lose from this project heavily lobby against it.
The last government (along with this one) is pushing a similar project where you connect the two side by train. The idea was to offload the cargo on one side of port and transport it via train+road to the other side and load again. This kills any financial viability of the project.
All in all… very unlikely to happen
I need a neural net that generates my plan for the day, with one of three modes to choose from:
1. Maximize productivity
2. Maximize chill
3. Maximize weirdness & adventure
@elonmusk 8k screen is 33 megapixels. Human eye is 6 megapixels, but it's distributed non-uniformly. Foveal and peripheral vision is a beautiful spatiotemporal perception system.
So reality probably doesn't need a lot of megapixels. It just needs to be clever in fooling us that it's real.
The generalization of AlphaGo Zero, called AlphaZero, achieves superhuman performance in all of Chess, Shogi, and Go. Starting from random play, and given no domain knowledge.
