The inflation story in one chart:
Where government spending and subsidies are highest, prices rise the fastest.
Where competition is highest, prices fall.
Very interesting use of UGVs in Kramatorsk by 1st National Guard Corps.
They are using ground robots for firefighting because:
a) russians love double-tapping to kill emergency workers
b) the industrial site could have gas tanks exploding
Pretty much an innovation.
I calculated that one (1) of these three new small modular reactors will give out the same average annual energy as 40 square miles of solar panels. And they work at night. And in winter. And when it is cloudy.
okay I guess I have to talk about Péter Magyar here.
Let me just start with saying, in a very unladylike way, that you guys seem to have zero clue what happened in Hungary in the last two years, you completely miss the point, and you're a disappointing bunch.
Let's go.
While massive crowds are gathering at our campaign events, the regime, gripped by fear, has shifted into panic mode.
They have fired up the shredders, and the disintegration of the power structure has begun.
In exactly four days, the decisive parliamentary election will conclude.
Now is the time to push forward, now is the time to mobilize all our energy.
Under a TISZA government, order, peace, and security will return to Hungary. And, of course, there will be more smiles and more joy.
Long live a free, independent, European, and humane Hungary.❤️🤍💚
My long read from a week spent on the southern front line is out. Read to learn about how Ukraine clears with assaults and drones, how Russia keeps infiltrating forward even when Kyiv seems to command the initiative, and what to expect this spring/summer.

NEW EPISODE: I am suing Donald Trump to stop his unconstitutional executive order creating a national citizen list. In this video, I break down this dangerous overreach of executive power, and review the fight for free and fair elections. https://t.co/KzcWa8Tgh6
So what did we actually achieve from this war?
Iran still has enriched uranium, most of its ballistic missiles, the regime is still in power, and now it’s shown it can control the Strait of Hormuz, which it didn’t have before. And it still supports terrorism across the Middle East.
What am I missing?
Pete Hegseth: I’m tough. I’ve got my warriors’ backs.
Fact: Pete Hegseth does nothing to defend a staff sergeant and his family against idiotic ICE persecution.

To judge from Trump's stochastic, contradictory statements about his war on Iran, he knows that he has lost & is desperate.
What will he do?
A near consensus here in Washington expects that Trump will escalate out of sheer vanity with even more bombing & then ground troops.
This will only aggravate the situation.
Iran will presumably maintain its control of the Strait of Hormuz.
One country after the other is likely to make amicable deals with Iran on passage through the Strait.
Toddler Trump will scold ever cruder, alienate the whole world & probably fire more ministers.
Only the republicans in Congress can stop Trump's madness.
"Last week Trump said he didn’t care whether or not the Strait of Hormuz was reopened because it wasn’t America’s problem.
On Sunday he demanded the strait be reopened in two days or he would begin a campaign of war crimes against Iran.
Which is it?"

WHAT A FINALE IN KUPIANSK! TOTAL SURRENDER OF THE CITY — THE ARMY ENCIRCLED!
Putin has been informed of the defeat.
Troops have completely sealed the pocket around the city. The Russian army in Kupiansk has capitulated.
Entire units have laid down their arms, thousands of occupiers have come out with their hands raised. The streets are filled with prisoners, and abandoned equipment stands in rows. Russian commanders surrendered the city without a fight.
Putin has already been notified of another humiliating defeat.
The new Hungarian government after Orban falls does not have to be the leader in progressivism. It just has to be a team player in Europe. The bar is not that high.
Rubio: “Imagine if Iran funded the well-being of its people, rather than its military.”
Trump: “We can’t fund daycare or Medicaid, we need more money for our military.”
