Thank goodness that they clarified with "(Zionists)" I was really worried for a moment that when they said "world-eating Jews" they were doing a racism
@tbsama03@ShamebyJames2 All of your posts have been saying that non-systemic bigotry is a non-issue and now you're telling me that you meant something completely different? Nah bro. You can either explain yourself or take the L.
@tbsama03@ShamebyJames2 Of course they're different. But you have not proven that only one matters.
If different neonazis blew up a black church every day, would you consider that to be inconsequential because it's not systemic?
Do you deny that bigotry at an individual level can be memetic?
@User729 Supporting an ethnic supremacist genocidal cult that destroyed an entire continent and annihilated itself 80 years ago, though, is seemingly totally normal and fine
@aeonofbarbelo And it's also gotten to the point where people see that politicians do shit about diversity and immediately assume it's going to be used to systematically replace the white man in America. Is that valid?
@dorisburkemuse I believe Marx had a pretty similar reading of leftist values in his rejections of the "Jewish question" on a conceptual level (see Fine & Spencer if you are curious), but conceptions of ideological purity cannot wash away an unfortunately very real ideological tradition
@ArtoriusNZ@dorisburkemuse I think this is a respectable position but at the same time it may be a bit over-intellectualized. Casually, it reads as "if you are on the left you cannot be prejudiced" when what you are trying to say is "if you are prejudiced you cannot be on the left."
@dorisburkemuse The reason why this is problematic is because you are using a very particular definition of "left" that would exclude a significant amount of people who not only consider themselves to be leftists, but who others also consider leftists. Which renders it colloquially incorrect
