Watching this video, I feel deep, sorrow, and condemn the recent shootings against peaceful protestors in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is disheartening to witness such brutality inflicted upon innocent Pakistanis, exercising their fundamental right to peaceful protest.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of those who have tragically lost their lives, and I pray for the families' strength and solace during this difficult time.
Albeit, it is imperative that these occurances are halted, resolved with urgency and justice, however to do so, and in the face of such oppression, collective agitation and steadfast resistance are much needed to bring the revolution in Pakistan once for all.

Alhamdolilah. Honoured to be the first elected female MNA returning to the National Assembly on a general seat from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In 1977 Begum Nasim Wali Khan was elected, however, she couldn't take oath. In 1988, Begum Nusrat Bhutto won from Chitral but she wasn't a resident of KP. @PTIofficial @PTIKPOfficial @PTIPeshawar

Remember 'our' long struggle for Electronic Voting Machines. EVM had paper ballots that could be counted separately by hand (like it is being done today) BUT it also had a simple electronic calculator/counter of each vote button pressed. Totals of every candidate would have been available & printed within five minutes of closing of poll.
The entire effort that included more than 50 meetings at the Presidency alone was scuttled.
Had EVMs been there today, my dear beloved Pakistan would have been spared this crisis.
