Interview note example (fictional):
Observed: “Opens a spreadsheet before the app.”
Interpretation: “Doesn’t trust the app.”
Keep these separate. Ask why they check the spreadsheet before calling it an insight.

Recording a lecture with iPhone Voice Memos? Ask permission first. Playing audio in another app stops the recording, so avoid voice messages or videos during class.
Our guide covers setup, interruptions and turning the file into notes:

Obsidian meeting notes: keep decisions, action items and open questions separate. Give each task an owner and due date.

@sumiittt_07 The tenant_id in your logging screenshot suggests a useful first test: seed identical docs in two tenants, then query as A. Assert B never appears in either the keyword or vector candidate set, before fusion/reranking. Log tenant + candidate IDs for failures.
@phreakv6 One looper stress test: on a long loop with an existing overdub, start another overdub and immediately hit Undo. Looper::undo drains foldLeft synchronously on the audio thread. Measure that command stall; steady-state DSP timing could miss it.
@GuideboardLabs Checked b7fab13: the retry guard and persisted-state test are there. One adjacent edge: expired() uses local midnight + 86,400s. On DST changes that isn't the next local midnight; a 25-hour day expires an hour early. Worth a timezone-pinned boundary test.
@miu21590 The checkpoint replay test makes this concrete: presentation edits preserve partial progress, changed verifier params reject stale work, and cold replay blocks a spent checkpoint. Showing that transition in the client would make the architecture easier to evaluate.
@MythomancerX@myc0576 Start with torch.cuda peak allocated + reserved, resetting peaks before each full step. Measure the first optimizer step and a later step separately; lazy state allocation can change the peak. Use a memory snapshot if you need to explain the allocations.
@JimiBarkway The public page doesn’t show its rule for that. I’d test “coffee sometime” against “I’ll send you the proposal Friday.” Vague plans should stay in a review queue with the source quote, not become overdue tasks or apology drafts.
@Ken_LinkWell The participant list is a useful check, but it cannot rule out a separate recording device. I’d widen the opening line: “Please turn off recording and transcription, including local apps and other devices.” Then agree how written notes will be shared.
@__nierowheezy A recovery test for the incident log: open an outage, pause monitoring, restore connectivity, then resume ten minutes later. Store::record closes it at the next successful probe; label the unobserved gap so it isn't presented as ten minutes of confirmed downtime.
@kennethnym Your transport_disconnect test could commit a worker-side counter before closing the connection. Have the worker dedupe by X-Task-Id, then assert two deliveries but one increment. That makes the README's at-least-once contract concrete for worker authors.
Time processing and manual correction separately. Note what you had to fix, then test the same sample in each tool. Before using real interviews, check that its processing, transfer and storage fit the consent you have. Local processing alone does not answer all three.
Choosing transcription software for interviews? Test the cleanup, not just the processing timer. Use a short, permitted sample with a name, a number, a correction and two speakers. Keep the audio so you can check what was actually said.
Synthetic example: “Mira will interview 12 people on Tuesday.” Then: “Correction: 10 people, Thursday. Mira is unavailable; Alex will do it.” Check names, speaker labels, numbers and the final decision separately. A tidy summary can still carry a transcript error.
@neeeel If this uses BGContinuedProcessingTask, test force-quitting mid-edit. Apple says app-switcher closure cancels it without a callback. Can a persisted checkpoint resume the run without replaying an already-applied edit?
@yanggao97566 Was the name wrong in the transcript too, or only in the summary? That tells you where to start checking. I’d verify names, owners and dates before polishing the wording, so the cleanup doesn’t carry a source error into the final notes.
