It makes absolutely no sense that people living in South East Nigeria have to travel to Lagos or Abuja just to apply for visas or catch international flights to the US, Europe, or other parts of the world.
People should be able to apply for visas to any country in Enugu, at the very least, and fly directly from the South East to major international destinations, with a choice of airlines.
This is critical to regional development, economic growth, and reducing our dependence on other regions.
The South East governors must work together to make this happen. It is long overdue.
A useless president who runs abroad for his own medical treatment because he wants a better quality of life, is asking medical professionals why they are leaving Nigeria and going abroad for a better quality of life.
Nigerian politicians are irrational lunatics suffering from severe cognitive dissonance.
Saying this in public without any repercussions or investigation by the cataract-afflicted eagle is one of the reasons why this country may never make it
“The Most V!olent People On The Internet Right Now Are The Obidients. If I Were President Tinubu, I Would Declare The Obidients a Terror!st Group In Nigeria. They Will Insult And Threaten You Just For Having a Different Political Opinion. If Peter Obi Ever Gets Into Power, He Will Be Worse Than a Tyrant.” ~ KayHikersClub 👀🤦🏾♂️

“Another Reason Why Investing In Nigeria Is a Risk. I Never Imagined I Would Live To See The Day Everything I Worked So Hard To Build Would Be Reduced To Rubble. The Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Dr. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, strongly criticized leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) during a high-profile visit to his palace. [1, 2]
The monarch spoke during a visit by Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. The delegation also included Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and former Governor Aminu Bello Masari. [1, 2]
In a widely circulated video from the meeting, the Emir delivered a blunt assessment, warning the APC politicians to "stop deceiving Nigerians" about the true condition of the country. [1, 2]
The Emir's main rebukes focused on the following issues:
•Prioritizing Campaigns over Security: The Emir expressed deep anger that politicians are already jostling for 2027 campaign tickets while everyday citizens are being killed by bandits. He noted that 52 schools are closed within his emirate and farmers cannot access farmlands across 12 Local Government Areas due to severe insecurity. He questioned why they were building a campaign structure instead of a security task force to capture bandit leaders like Bello Turji. [1, 2, 3]
•Selfishness vs. Public Service: He accused political leaders of forgetting the common people once elections are over. He remarked that politicians treat the palace like a "voting center or toilet" that they only visit when they need something, only to disappear to Abuja and Lagos until the next election cycle.[1]
•Internal Party Infighting: He openly called out internal rivalries within the state APC, pointing to the friction between the camps of current Governor Radda, former Governor Masari, and Abuja-based politicians. He noted that while they fight for political dominance, ordinary masses face severe hunger. [1]
•A Warning on the 2027 Elections: He warned that voters have learned from the politicians' selfishness. He cautioned that in 2027, if the APC brings bags of rice and money to buy votes, the people will collect the items but still vote against the party. [1]
The Emir concluded by challenging Senator Yari to stand for the truth, use dialogue and persuasion rather than political backbiting, and properly convey the suffering and economic hardships of ordinary Nigerians back to the presidency. [1]
Can we start teaching Nigerian children how to measure distance properly?
In the UK, Europe, Canada or US, someone tells you a place is 5km away, and you know exactly what that means.
In Nigeria, our units of measurement are “just here,” “near near,” “small trek,” and the legendary “you will soon reach.”
Nobody knows whether that means 200 metres or 10 kilometres!
A society that struggles to understand distance will struggle with spatial planning, mapping, infrastructure and development.

“I was hospitalized for months, and I felt so useless. I would see my colleagues post skits and burst into tears because I wasn’t sure I would ever be able to do it again. I was scared people would have forgotten me by the time I returned.” — Broda Shaggi
I just watched Broda Shaggi's story and if you think this next election is about bants or ethnic bigotry then you are an empty skull..
The other day a gospel singer lost his life after 8 hospital visits when he collapsed and none took him in. Now with a defibrillator and a ventilator who knows he probably might have stood a chance..
Broda Shaggi was hit inside his car by a stray bullet right in his hips and it took visiting 2 hospitals yes you read right, the first hospital said they could not help and he was rushed to another hospital just to stabilise him.. Just to stabilise him oh...
He had to be flown to Dubai to be able to get the use of his legs again..
And there's you here supporting the govt that is literally killing you...
You think this election is bants right. No problem.
Broda Shaggi told this story himself now go to a YouTube page and be angry with this govt...
Angry enough to Vote out this failure and the APC ..
Broda Shaggi spent 4 months in a Nigerian hospital after being hit by a stray bullet, but couldn’t get the replacement surgery he needed. He travelled to Dubai and got it done in less than a week.
Nigerian healthcare has a LONG way to go. 💔
